Since TTK won't be raised just give us Shotgun Armor like Flak Armor. I would be willing to pay SC.

there is no reasoning with people like you.... yer if you day so.
  2. Zorro

I support this, as more counters are always productive. Both sides of the debate (are pump-action shotguns overpowered?) can go home happily.
  3. VexTheRaven

Shotguns counter shotguns... And every other type of gun. How isn't that an "I win" button?
  4. SharpeShooter

so if a person is stood at 15m with an AR and the other guy has a shotgun you're trying to tell me the shotgun will win?
  5. FateJH

There aren't that many indoor areas (worth being in) in which two people can stand 15m across from each other.
    Also, yes.

Air counters Air, they said ...
  6. SharpeShooter

what ever you're smoking I want some!
  7. FateJH

    Bullet holes?
  8. VexTheRaven

When is there ever combat of any significance outside of 15m? And of those times, when is there not cover for the shotgun user to hide?
  9. Phazaar

I fully support this, despite thinking that the reasoning is absolutely ******* hilarious. Why do I support it? HAs will die to Rocketpods again. Oh, that'll just be heavenly!

While I can appreciate the idea of the OP, this would just be putting a bandage on an infected, gaping wound.

The crux of the matter (and the crux of many nerf calls in general) is the horrendously low TTK in this game. A game with such a low TTK that there is now no design space left in faster killing weaponry with the introduction of pump shotguns that have a TTK of click. A TTK of click in a game where large numbers of people are usually firing at one another.

If the TTK in this game were increased by two times, it would still take two pump shotgun rounds to kill someone. Two. That's a little less than half a second iirc. The fastest firing carbine would still take less than a second to kill you. I think this would be a good place to start and maybe work our way up from there. SOE has foolishly ignored PS1 veterans and have now designed themselves into a corner win regards to weapon strength. The only way to get out of it is to slow the game down a bit and bring back more tactics in place of twitching. OHK weapons (other than direct hits from armor and headshots from bolt action snipers) have no place in a tactical shooter. It's not fun to do, have done to you, or watch happen-especially from an eSports perspective.

Fix this. The game becomes more and more boring and shallow as the volume of OHK weapon users increases.
