SOE, please test your updates before throwing them into the main game. Even after half a year it seems that you didn't have learned how to properly update a game. Now the list: 1. Outfit is gone, Friends are gone, Statistics are gone and the shop isn't accessable. What have you done? 2. Can't warp to other continents. It doesn't matter if you try to spawn onto an another continent, when you died or use the terminal or even quickdeploy to your squadleader. Nothing of these work! I guess there are even more bugs added by your "update". It seems more like a downgrade. These gamebreakers were also the reason why I stopped playing PlanetSide 2. Because I want to play a game and not stare twentythousand times at the same loading screen over and over and try to figure out why the hell I can't warp to an another continent, while having no contact to my Outfit. Seriously, stop making these updates, which are just literally destroying this game and test them before you make them official! I wonder why you can't do that like in the Beta, because in the Beta every Update gave new content and bugfixes as well as some minor not so important bugs. But you have released this about 2 years ago! So I could have accepted that the game could break in the Beta stadium, but now? Now it is just ridiculous to release such abysmal patches. I hope this was absolutely the LAST TIME something like this happens. End of my Rant.
All the same issues for me too. - Stuck on Continent - No Chat - No Friends - No Outfit - Weapon animation stutters when changing weapons, running. Its like under stroboscobe light. Really? How can someone overlook these obvious faults, when everybody else can see them within 10 seconds after entering the game?
All the same problems here as well. They also downgraded my membership to "COPPER" and i've had auraxium membership for over a month now.
Same here: - Game crashed a lot - Can't reach other continent - When deploying, sometime I spawn in an empty continent and in the middle of nowhere. Btw guys, don't cry too much. Those things happenened in every game when major patch is release... Servers need to be stabilized and the game will be clean soon enough.

Yapp, all of the above listed bugs. And to add to the list: Instant action button is not working. Random dissconnects from the server
To be fair on SOE, the PTS has been the busiest I've ever seen it for this update. It's been thoroughly tested but you can't anticipate the issues when you add a ton more users into the mix. tl;dr Game is buggy because not enough people were stress testing it on PTS.
I found out that if you wait long enough thing start happening. Waited 10 mins to load continent stats, waited 10 min before my soldier finally said he needed ammo.. Spend 10 min waiting to switch continent and another 10 min in a loading screen... Only one thing comes to mind... PS2 now has tidi.. For those unfamilair with this, just hope you will never have deal with it ona regular basis.
A 'We are aware of the issue and we are working for a fix' statement would be nice. They must be working on it surely?
I don't know if any of you even considered this, but these problems don't look like bugs. You can't access the depot or anything like that, and it certainly worked on test. This means it's a serverside problem and not necessarily a problem they coded into the game. If it were in the game like that, everyone and their mother would have noticed it on test.
I actually think this aswell, usually large mmo server use multiple internal servers (authentication, game, communication) to perform diffrent tasks. My guess would be that one of these servers is on the fits the reasons for this could be whole array of things but in this case it seems that info fetching form the database takes forever for whatever reason. What i do find strange that soe has not even publicly recognized that there is a problem...
Yes, it's surely serverside. I'm having similar but smaller issues on EU servers. It's still definitly playable, and I'm still in contact with my outfit (haven't checked my friends list but adding people worked). The only problem I really, really noticed is the chat delay. I type something in chat and then it takes like 5-10secs for it to actually show up. Also, the squad voice chat didn't work either. We had to use proximity chat while playing.
New patch appears to have removed all stats, put my BR to 0. I can't access the shop, station cash is gone (apparently) and the map is screwed up. I also appear to have lost my outfit and my entire friends list. WTF. Is this supposed to happen? What is the fix? This is on Woodman. I can't get onto Miller because it crashes.
well just tried to play again, my last post was referring to my experience right after the patch was released... it's apparently only gotten worse since then. I've had all the problems listed in this thread now, and I tried to play on the one continent I had access to... up untill I got disconnected from the server. I'm giving up on this for tonight and hoping it'll be fixed in the morning
