    Speak for yourself, not everyone.

ok maybe I shouldnt have said everyone, but a lot of people are.

Doesn't seem it. don't vent on the forum, theres no point, you're not goign to get anywhere, if you want my help, i'll try to help you, if you can systematically prove it is SOE's server, then do so. post in bug repots, or post a thread in tech support - Stop whining, and actually do something about your problem.

i, as well as SOE, will assume if you cannot show the issue is completley SOE's server stability, that it is you being incompetent or lazy, with out facts pointing to the contrary.

And that's not to say that SOE's servers are stable, they're not. but at that frequency that you claim, that is definitely a client side issue.

its easy to just dismiss people as whining and being incompetent and lazy. Thats a very bad attitude on your end
  5. Mech0311

I guess you are right. No one is experiencing these problems. The game runs flawlessly at all times.

I don't have to prove its SOEs server, I have already proven it. I can't log into the game because of http://www.planetside2.com/error/game.action?code=G99&info=Unable to connect to Login Server.

But I can sit here and post on the internet and have a discussion with you. And I was just playing for a couple hours.

So how about you tell me what changed? Did my computer just decide it didnt want to grant an internet connection to SOE and PS2?

And then decide to grant access at a later time? Or was it their login server?

Shut the hell up. Everyone I know that plays this game has crashes, and everyone in my outfit does too. Hell we've had two occurances where everyone in the outfit was dropped from the game all at once (which completely ruined the defense we were working on). If it is client side (which it isn't) then it's something that effects well over 90% of users, meaning it's a defacto product issue as the game does have critical bugs on the vast majority of players' systems.

I didn't come in here to whine about the game, it is free and if you gave SOE money you knew about the bugginess before hand, hell even the devs when they post admit there are still some crtitical bugs they are working. I actually came here to post my reply to the OP (see below). You though are a total tool vomiting out complete BS asshattery. The devs admit there are critical bugs and every player experiences them (except you for some strange reason), so there is no need to try to make up random crap.

It's a free game, and I'm glad they released it when they did rather then continue with a closed beta (I never got a key); I like playing this game. The game obviously still has bugs in it, but the devs are working on the critical issues, and if you paid money then you knew at the time there were critical bugs that still haven't been solved yet. It doesn't indicate poor coding either like you imply, I code for a living and sometimes it just takes time to track down the cause and then figure out a fix - it is simply part of the software development process. Now if they had asked for money up front given the current state the game is in, that would be another matter, but they did not. You chose to pay them knowing it's current state (or in a state of willful ignorance).

I finally got it to work. And did no troubleshooting. It stopped working and gave me G99 and then decided to work again now. Obviously thats on my end right?

Anyway thanks for sticking up Phungus. Im going to go blow things up now.

What's with all the double and triple posting?

I crash maybe once a day, and I play for 4-6 hours a day. I'm guessing a lot of people are trying to play this game on the hunk of junk that "ran WoW just fine all these years!".

    Gigabyte UD3R Motherboard
    i7-950 OC'd to 3.8
    6GB Corsair Dominator RAM
    Gigabyte GTX 670
    256GB Crucial M4 SSD
    Windows 7 64bit

    i7 930 OC to 3.9 ghz
6 GB Super Talent DDR3 triple channel
    Nvidia 560 Ti
1 TB WD 7200 RPM HD

    850 Watt PSU
    Windows 7 x64

I guess it was only good for Runescape and now it pales in comparison to Planetside 2.
