Server Maintenance For Game Update Sept 5

so... I wonder what their definition of "Brief server maintenance" is?

30 min to an hour is not brief...
It really astounds me that it takes them so long to update just 5 game servers.
especially with a supposedly small hotfix.

I think their update process must be FUBAR

just got a new mechanical keyboard and now i have to wait to try it out QQ

Here's my list of what I would like to see done to the game.

1. I would love to see the continent lock gone. Too many players log in, see 2 of 4 continents locked and just leave. I've done it myself.
2. Get rid of the Lattice. I liked the game when strategy and skilled organization were a part of the game. Now it's so Infantry weighted that players just chase around to get kills and don't even go to the objectives to capture the point. It's very sad now and I know that those that can fly prefer that to ground movement because the lattice system redrew the roads making it slow to drive to get anywhere.
3. Give TR back it's Striker. That thing has been useless for a very long time. I think TR deserves a lock-on rocket system that can actually do some damage.

My list of what i want in game.

I don't mind the lattice or continent lock, but could understand why someone would tho. But I play for the badass fights....you don't get this **** in bf4 or cod.

If they say it's a 90 minute one then you can figure 3 hours and 2 to 3 hot-fixes to follow up on what they thought they fixed but made worse. If it's a 30 minute patch it will probably be back in an hour but your station cash will be gone for the next 3 days. Look forward to new problems and the healing tool still not working at all for the Medic. The instrument panel on the Mossy and Libby will still not work most of the time or be blank. You will still get lose of input control with aircraft over Split Peak Pass.

Is there any reason why, you guys close down the only Australian server on Friday nights "Australian time"?
Is it possible for you to do these maintenance sessions "off peak"? Or at-least patch each region while its off peak. I know you can do this, because of the test servers you patch while the other servers stay up. I only play on Briggs (more then 200 ping on every other server is unplayable for me) so Briggs it is.
6AM Friday morning is okay for you. But, I'm paying you money to play this game. I live in Australia. So when you close down Briggs server at 6am Friday. You're actually close down the Australian server at 11pm Friday. I know there's bugs that need to be addressed. But on a Friday night! Really? It wouldn't be to bad, if it was on a rare occasion. But this is happening to us Australian customers on a regular basis. Please understand the situation we're in.

Well their server update process takes an absurd amount of time

All I can figure is they must have one guy do it manually... one at at time... and he must take a 10 min break between each one.

All Directives should be removed from the game!
It's so unfair how i lose all my directive Points, but get killed by a player that has over 1000 directive points. And all the perks that come with it. If you cant fix the lost Directive points for everyone, the no one should have any. Its just plain unfair!

RadarX: define brief. You should announce the real time it would/should take, not ******** us. By now it is obvious that this is not a „brief scheduled maintenance” and an update on the situation would be appropriate since the „brief” part failed.

they started working on it three days ago they checked it yesterday and now they r only launching it

I can open the game but it doesn't show my characters, just takes me to a screen to create new ones. I'm scared.

or. OR. Maybe a whole weekend of better gameplay is greater than (max 3 hrs?) of downtime. Calculate before ejaculate.
