Ok. Out of nowhere, recently I been getting the bug where all the players start skipping around and I can't do damage to anyone. This randomly happens after about 30 minutes of gameplay. The only way to fix it is to completely relog out of the game. It started happening to me about a month ago, and has gotten more frequent over time. After doing some research, this is apparently a known bug among a lot of players and has been around for a while now. My issue...WHY HASN'T IT BEEN FIXED? This is game breaking. I have spent well over 150 bucks on this game and I am an auraxium members with a 6 month sub. If I cannot play the game for more than 30 minutes without logging out, I want my money back. This bug been in game for far too long now. What's the deal?!
Many users have reported that the fixes in the thread below have provided some relief, if not completely removed their "no damage" issues - I would suggest browsing thru it to see if any of the solutions listed work for you. http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/desync-issues-and-work-arounds.95695/
No. Fix it. I shouldn't have to reverse engineer my computer in order for your game to work. This isn't EA.
TOTALLY AGREED! I have EVERYTHING stock on my PC, nothing overclocked, no custom software messing stuff up, and this game is still broken for me.
Your motherboard and any built-in Windows power saving features can still alter the clock speed of your CPU. Yes, it is a bug. Yes, SOE should fix it. But yours and the OPs tone seems to relay that you think SOE is purposefully ignoring it. Do you really think that would be a good idea for them? Do you really think SOE would intentionally ignore an issue, leading to their reputation being damaged and losing income? No, they are most definitely working on it. In the meantime, there are workarounds posted above that you can try. Try them. And stop acting like SOE is out to specifically make your life miserable.
I'm not acting like that at all, but it seems like all of these issues came up AFTER I started playing the game months ago. The game worked BETTER months ago, and it's only gotten worse. That's the thing that's so frustrating to so many people. They keep breaking things that worked well. They keep changing the game and making it suck, both in terms of bugs and in terms of ruining the gameplay. People who've invested a bunch of money in the game are pissed, because they're ruining something they paid for. I haven't spent that much, probably about $20, but that's about all I'm willing to spend when the game keeps degenerating like this.
Weeks? It's been around for months, since Feb/Mar. Ironically I spent months playing beta and never had a problem, then a few patches after it goes live... Anyhow, try the thread already stated, some of the suggestions do help to alleviate the problem. SOE have acknowledged there is an issue, just gotta wait for the fix...
Today was a bit better than yesterday. Might be a placebo but this is what I did... I made a new administrator account on Windows 7 and logged into that. I started the game by double clicking on the launcher execute file. I also uninstalled a few things like Adobe, Speccy. etc. I then re-installed Teamspeak.
Im quite sorry to say, but SOE and EA are getting closer and closer when looking at the "quality" of the games/bugs/problem fixes
this is still happening. as someone who has spend almost 200$ in station cash as well as a 6 month membership....im going to be looking for a refund soon. this game has been unplayable for more than 30 minutes the past 2 months
its happening to me all the time and that thread doesn't fix anything i tried it all and i have the same problem for months !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
