The spread on the Deioms seems tighter than the Phobos, the fire rate seems about the same to me though.
  2. Jezs

So basically the same deal as SMGs
  3. GalacticBulge

Yeah I get that, but releasing another version of the same weapon? Sounds like iffy business, then again I haven't tried them so I'll reserve judgement.

Of course these new pumps could be horribly unbalanced and end up selling like hotcakes then suffer the obligatory hit with the nerf bat, lol.

    why more shotguns :(

Maybe they are going to nerf the current pumps before releasing these new ones?
  5. Varanis

Thought they would have learnt their lesson after the SMG's. This is borderline scumbag behaviour and makes me question why I give them any money.

Well, thank you SOE, I shall enjoy my flying double-hacksaw max. Well, 2x less RoF, but same damage. 5 shots in the head or 7 in the body to kill a max.

I'm surprised that SOE didn't make the second round of shotguns Double Barrel models:

    Pros:
+2 shots that can be fired back-to-back or simultaneously
+Best close range damage potential (Good versus Max units and Heavies with Nanite Armor active/Nanoweave)
    +Forgiving spread

    Cons:
    -Longest infantry weapon reload
    -Low ammo
-Very low effective range (heavy damage falloff would make medium range combat unthinkable)
    -Loud
  8. SpcFarlen

Slightly slower RoF but tighter CoF? As other have said its a very minimal change. I do like the way these new ones look over the old ones.
  9. Hyllan

Slightly lower RoF, 2 extra pellets, slightly worse CoF (just got nerfed in the latest PTS patch).

That's to make sure the tough SOB's go down the 1st shot. :D Gonna have another shotgun and the new NS revolver hand cannon as back up!!!
