can someone explain how the 64 bit client will affect my game? thanks in advance

My steam overlay no longer works with the game since the update.

steam is not allowing for client to update to 64bit

Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU 2.30GHz
8 Gb RAM
GeForce GT 650M

Whatever my specs is when i just started i was able to this game on medium quality without problems. Than patches came up. I changed to low than to very low. OMGF patch increased FPS a bit, but than this happens... now i have +30 FPS only when i look up on the air( In addition i have a strange bug when random textures just start fill up the whole screen and can`t see a **** if not redeploying or dying.

Again, releasing a patch without making sure how it's going to effect customers.

Oh and yeah. Reavers are now invisible up until they are 20 meter near you. Nice texture update.

I just made a reply saying that the crashes are still occuring, they removed it.

This is my first post and i don't like to complain but damn SOE, crashes still happen. After some freezes the game actually crashed so hard i had to reboot my computer... Not cool.

Also, the new "Control console" sounds (for TR, i don't know what it says for NC and VS) are such a terrible idea ! You know i can see on the HUD and the minimap when a point is being contested why would you need to add this annoying voice everytime ? During big fights in multiple-points bases it happens every 10 seconds and it's becoming very irritating.

And at last,

Why ? I didn't like it when it was like that first, then it came back to "any button but the mouse clicks" and now clicks again. I don't see how that's useful since you can press any other button. I also liked to swivel my murderer on the deathscreen when he looks like a badass sexy beast warrior. Now you can't because you need to click... Not a big deal tho but still.

Well, since I patched the game, it stopped working. Now, don't get me wrong, its not like I can't log in. The game simply crashes at random times. I mean completly random. Loving the patch so far!

I keep getting this error from my antivirus when I'm updating, usually when I get around 99%, and it makes me have to retry the update.

I checked that folder, and I have a PlanetSide2_x64.exe, but no PlanetSide2_x86.exe. I used notepad to create a PlanetSide2_x86.exe, but the patcher just deletes the file. At least I know it has the permissions to edit the file. I've got 64 bit Windows 7.
