Let's just be clear here - nerfs/buffs are not the same thing as totally overhauling the basic functionality and operation of a weapon. The Saron/Enforcer ML85 were not nerfed/buffed, they were totally overhauled and transformed into something else. Buffing the overhauled version doesn't change the fact that its just operates totally differently now. I still don't care for the changes, it doesn't operate the way the old one did. Where you had to make your hits count, and they provided a satisfying result/reward from being able to aim/hit targets. Only the Halberd does this now - and I have to go buy and recert into that just cause SOE doesn't have a brain? You know - balancing ie. nerfs/buffs in most games involve tweaking stats, not wholesale ripping out a V8 hemi and replacing it with a Cummins diesel.

they did the same on nc side with the enforcoer. its a completly different weapon now. i discussed that with soe now for 5 hours. my addvice to you. DONT BUY ANYWEAPON ANYMORE with SC. i wont do it. this hasnt anything to do with balancing. they took a weapon and changed its characteristiics completely. the trust is away. why should i spent money for something to get in a few months something completly different
The funny thing about this thread is now this guy actually used the Saron and is enjoying the hell out of it.
Dude! I wish I could put Sauron on my tank. I'd drive around with a gunner swinging a massive nerf hammer, OHK infantry and anything it connected with and when they respawned they'd have switched their faction to mine. Just ignore the big glowing ring, that's just uh... for decoration.
i hated how they changed the saron. i bought that to act as my long range first attack against vanguard ,now i cant take a vanguard out with out using three magriders in the process... even so thats ify if ill win. the saron gave me a good chance against a vanguard becuase i could takeem on at ranged
