Seriously, almost without exception, any time something dodgy happens, its a member of ZergRuss or someone associated with them. If only there was some kind of E-Anti Doping equivalent so that they could all be detected and banned from playing. Look how much better the Olympics are without the cheats, this could be Planetside!
I think everyone I online game with should be tested for 'dope'. Playing MMOs with high af players has to be one of the more annoying things. Come to think of it, I've actually booted someone from a unit in MechWarrior 4 because they came to league games high. It was actually causing issues.
I dont believe Hydra are legitimate for one second. I appreciate this game has client and lag issues, but those guys are repeatedly killing (fine) but in completely odd circumstances consistently and I dont have issues with almost anyone else in that way, except the occasional zergrus member. TRID on the other hand seem fine. I've had dozens of fair 1v1's, they dont seem iffy to me (although there is one guy who seems to get odd kills on me, nuclear something or other. Could be lag his end I guess) and this 'colbertnation' guy makes me giggle.
One of the worst things IMHO is aimbotting. The second is radar cheats. I don't care if someone has 5000+ weapons skill, and they're the best player on the planet, consistent headshots with an automatic rifle (or any rifle for that matter) is a sign of an aimbot. The developers designed the weapons with randomness to their pattern, and the only way to overcome that with many of the weapons is an aimbot. I check profiles and look at their kill list and when they're 10 kills since their last death AND right in the middle of a big fight, and 6 of those 10 were a headshot with a T9 Carv, I call BS.
Well I give people credit for high aim sometimes. Like many of the youtubers are slightly above average and hit heads regularly fast. I like slow RPM high damage, which demands I aim for head mainly or lose to faster dps. But many in Hydra for example come round corners pre-firing headshots in completely blind rooms, or have unnatural survivabilty at a time when im killing other experienced players around the back of these encounters fine in fair 1v1's. But never them. The stuff they survive just to insta kill me without even aiming is absurd. Like when I see this guy Kelpitorgh. Sometimes I win, sometimes he does - often I catch him for example while hes trying to kill sundy with infantry and dont see me. This is fine and I learn some things. Hydra however, I had one guy tank my whole reaper DMR mag whilst cluelessly fumbling between his ammo packs and c4 (he even tried to supply me with ammo) but then soon as his weapon is equipped he kills me instantly hiding behind a rock, and a second guy? It makes no sense. One or two times fine. But not the same people over and over. Like they have the ability to see through walls without motion spotters anywhere at all. Its frustrating. If I see this I just redeploy now. No point even fighting.
Ping limit for game + disconect from server from 30s ---> max 2s. ( 30s for dc players to kill levitating players and use warp switching/lagging, just wtf ? ) problem solved
I didn't say that they cheat, I don't think they'd ever condone or want something like that within their ranks (I respect the heck out of TRID). But it is a big outfit, and I have had situations with some of them of very questionable nature.
I used to be like you. I used to be like a lot of people like you. I didn't know how it was physically possible to overcome the random CoF stats that allow the damage that is sometimes dealt to be dealt. But I didn't just scream "HAAAKS" and sit down like some contended dog. I wanted to learn for myself. So I practiced. I watched videos of these "MLG" players. I talked to them and learned their settings, and practiced with their settings. I stopped accepting mediocre and strove for the very best. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm getting better. And I understand how people can control the recoil, how they shoot, the specific nuance to each weapon. It's not impossible. It's hard, it requires dedication and a willingness to learn and make mistakes, but it can be done.
Yesterday evening after a massive and long fight lasting for like 2 hours, big farm, "we" could take the huge base. Inside the spawn building there were like 60-70 players. Like 30 of them start to shot all of their weapons, first and second slot to the wall, ceiling and the floor over and over again. Reloading and again. Taking new ammunition from terminals and ammunition packets and shooting again. For a minute or even more. Why? you know why.. to lower the accuracy you get with... external code lines. No comment.. Edit: With training, time and passion a player will be able to get real highscores and great gameplay. But most people are not interested to do so. They are interested to get rewards fast and easy. Thats the time for scripts, exploits and bug abuse. That´s the problem.
Oh thats why I see them doing that on esamir lol. I wondered what people were shooting at, I thought maybe would be a kill for me but its like a group of guys just emptying mags into walls and then getting resupplied and doing it again. TR had quite a substantial overpop and the territory was almost locked, so I didnt have much to really do except watch. They must have gone through about 20 or more magazines each but I can see why its worth it to them now :/
