I havent played in well over a month and I am completely out of the loop in game updates and all that. August is almost over and im just wondering if the revamp happened and if not, then when will it happen?
You could just look at the patch notes. The first phase of the ressource revamp happened. But here are the things to know : There is a single resource pool called Nanites replacing the three resources we had before. The amount of Nanites you gain is 50/min, and the territory controlled has no impact on that number anymore. All acquisition timer have been deleted and certs refunded. You can now spawn a vehicle anytime you want if you have the resource to do so. All vehicles and MAXes cost have been tweaked. You can't stack infantry consumables, you have to buy them per use each time you use a loadout. So yeah, some people are loving it (I do), some don't. But everyone have to keep in mind that this is the first phase of something bigger. Right now, the system still needs improvements and more importantly a goal, because since it's not tied to controlled territory, there is currently no purpose of capturing a base (there wasn't much before, but it's worse now). The main result is that you should see more vehicles in the game. And honestly, since those new vehicles are mostly inexperienced drivers, it's a cert fest for those who can kill them easily.
Stage 1 happened. Stage 2 to Stage X hasn't happened yet. It seems like an improvement, but with a lot of flaws (in Stage1), but I guess we'll have to see what they do next.
