The Resistance does not do ranks or even a formal command structure. Each member is treated as an equal from the day they are accepted. We approach each mission or game with an open-mind and let members have the freedom to bounce around between roles required for the mission at hand. With that being said we still approach the game in a strategic sense and have a solid base of procedures to ensure everyone operates on the same page. With techniques, procedures, a mature collective attitude, we still maintain a fun experience for anyone in the community. We do not force our members to be online every day. Unlike certain game clans out there, we know that players have lives, work, kids and other responsibilities and we will not hold you back from that. To go into detail the Resistance resolves around mechanized infantry, without many supporting assets. The Resistance operates with a platoon structure. Air units support is often only used for transport and for only certain situations giving the infantry a tough and intensive fight. In PlanetSide we are always looking for hard fights, through skill, determination and proper coordination of the infantry it gives us glorious triumphs. If it's not the top of our games, we expect to be defeated. Defeats are a special type of fun and are a good learning experience. Refine our tactics, and ensure we're a better team. Our goal is to maintain a high level of tactical gameplay without having to resort to tedious trainings. Principles Community: There are many ways you can play PlanetSide 2 and have some fun. However our community comes down to being tied together, development and interaction is what makes us stand out. Stability-Activity: We are always developing & evolving and we are always looking to expand into new areas of gaming, we will be here still after many other communities and clans have shut down. Communication: Communication between member's and it's essential for our community. We offer forums, a teamspeak server, and an excellent up-to-date news feed. In addition we provide many community applications rosters such as forums, Steam, Facebook and Youtube. Leadership: Many clans that are led by teenagers have limited time in there life and experience. Our senior member's have been playing video games for a very long time. This can distinguish us from many other communities like ones led by people of younger age. How our none leading players player's will follow orders always surprises us. If you're looking for a leadership role opportunities are plentiful. At the start of missions there's roles for fireteam leaders, squad leaders, platoon commander. Please make sure you have read over the Resistance Information Pages A few simple rules about the application: Your in-game name must match your teamspeak Headset and microphone are required (Or purchasing one later in a maximum two weeks time). Push-to-talk required. Teamspeak 3 is also required. If you are under the age of 18 you will have to have a waiver to join. This includes an interview over teamspeak. A waiver meaning that we will see what you're like over teamspeak. Be detailed in your application, it also works as an introduction to the community. Short applications that don't have much effort put into them will not be approved until improved.
