While I'm on a nostalgic role, here's a bit of history for you. In planetside 1 You didn't spend cert points on a lasher. You spent cert points on the 'Heavy Assault Weapons' certification. If you were vanu that meant you could get a lasher easy. It also meant if you pried a jackhammer from someone's cold dead hands just happen to find a slightly used jackhammers just laying in a field somewhere you could use one. History lesson over. ------- On the one hand having to pay 3,000 certs or station cash to use all three assault weapons on all three factions helps pay for the game. On the other? Being able to pray a jackhammer from someone's cold dead hands in the field would upgrade the fun factor. Any comments?
Borrow implies you would do something so crud as actually keep a T7 mini-chain from it's rightful terrain republic owners. As polite and lawful vanu sovereignty citizen, that would just be rude! I'm suggestion if you know how to correctly handle heavy assault weapon -they are after all very dangerous- and you just happen to find a terrain republic T7 mini-chain you should indeed pick it up! You should also return it to it's rightful owner.... Preferably with the side the bullets come out of pointed at them, and the trigger firmly held down. It is after all a dangerous weapon to mishandle...
