This issue began mid-way through beta(kinda closer to the end of the middle part) and made me stop participating in it.
Was hoping It'll get addressed for launch but it's still here.

    Exactly.

Ok, I only picked up during last few weeks of beta and hadn't really encountered it there before as I see it happening now. Well, I'll stay optimistic for now. :)

    Ehhh you're wrong mate.

My computer pisses on yours (no offense) and this weekend I upgraded to a 27in WQHD monitor, and play this game at 2560x1440 res (all settings max of course), my CPU across all 4 cores never exceeds 38% peak usage while playing, my GPUs never exceed 55% peak usage while playing. This is a problem. I played on my old monitor at 1680x1050 and was getting roughly 40-50fps. Now 50-60. If the gaps were filled in threading and core usage, my PC would output nearly 3x the FPS It does now. They have a lot of performance headroom they need to fill.

Lag/warp/render distance are all at various times terrible to the point of making the game unplayable at times, I captured the following footage the other day during a particularly warpy time.

    Good post.

I agree that Graphics are worse now than in Beta. The rendering distance issue will HAVE to be dealt with or the game will die. Quite simple.
  7. Mobius One

Aside from the OP being borderline illiterate, he has a point.

Rendering is a huge issue in gameplay right now. When I'm in a Biolab and enemies aren't rendering for ANY reason - there is a very serious issue.

i think this issue is more about keeping the servers workable than anything else.

If they turned this up - the server has to deal out more data on those enemy positions and their crappy netcode can't handle it
  9. Deschain

gotta agree with this, i seriously think they are dialing back servers to accomodate player numbers. Beta wasn't as bad as it is now and i truely believe its down to servers not being able to handle it.
  10. Zerolimitz

Tbh i think the reason they haven't said anything on the matter is the simple fact this wont/cant be fixed

i know of another mmo that has the same problem and its been 2 years and still they have done nothing about it or even acknowledged there was a problem.
  11. PlayerOneSVK

    so no money for them

This only started to be a problem near the end of beta. Earlier on you could see just about all players and the full battle, because the render distance of everything was 100s of meters. It looked amazing.

But they massively reduced the infantry render distance in big battles to cater to people with slow/low spec PCs. So now you run around a corner and 10+ bad guys just appear out of thin air 5ft from you, the guy in your crosshairs randomly vanishes, or you get killed by someone who can see you but you can't see them etc. It's just broken.

They need to change it back and raise the minimum requirements for the game, or make the reduced render distance an option.

Raising minimum requirements = lost profits, because they have to gain as much a player base as possible to earn money, this game will start looking like Planetside in regards to making it available to any tom dick n harry with a **** computer.

don't expect any fix's regarding Render distance, its counter porductive to the cashflow.

I agree on server side. Look how many times they restarted servers yesterday. Big fights like tech facilities bio domes would be fine for me. Then few hours in they become grab a shotgun and kill people appearing at 5-10m (makes for fun huge kill c4/gren suicides). So looks like server issues, memory leak, overloaded etc. Also wasn't an issue first few days of release, but now there are big fights in multiple locations the servers have to deal with, not just big fight here and there.

The players in uncrowded areas, ghosting/warping, however seems to be on purpose. As just the 1 will (not to be biased, but its typically a TR) while none of the NC around me are, would say none of the VS but we know you can't see them anyway in the dark.
  16. Saiff

This is the biggest problem I have with the game. It wouldn't be so bad if it was fair but getting killed by invisible people is not fun.
  17. gutiarist616

I can be flying in a Liberator at 700 meters and can see and kill players with no problem. My friend that I fly with can do the same. You seriously need some more RAM in your system. 4GB just doesn't cut it for gaming.
  18. Duskguy

Agree completely about topic and OP.
  19. Zerolimitz

i find this really funny "consider" changing it like whats there to consider? this aint something you consider its day and night.
not being able to see your enemy in a fps game is not acceptable ohh and mmofps even more so the fact they built the engine with so many players in mind this should have been considered

starting to feel they have no clue what they are doing.

i would be more then happy to change my settings to low if i can just see the damn target...
