So wait - **** the topic and the OP for a second; they're actually adding the delay to sheilds now!? Wow, so guess everyone's gonna play as a medic now. Until they remove the medic's "press f to win" health restorer..... This community....seriously. It's not the devs that are ruining the game - it's the players.
I personally hate the idea of giving each class an ability, Heavy assault should just be what he is, the heaviest armored infantry who can wield larger weapons before getting into a max suit. infiltrators are about cloaking its what their armor is for, the medic, engineer, and light assault are all medium armor, they just needed to separate them into classes for god knows what, but instead of allowing people to customize their character like the first game, we are forced into classes. Man can you imagine how much fun it would be to be an agile exosuit wielding a repair and healing tool with jetpacks? You'd probably be stuck with a medium weapon and no pistols or hacking kit, but that would certainly feel much more fun than this current setup.
So you can flank the enemy and repair them all to death? All the ground troops are on the ground, don't need no jet pack to go support them all.
So they are actually adding the delay to shields? Oh well, **** it then. Never playing Heavy again once it hits.
When bad players come up with such ridiculous ideas... 500+ extra HP in exchange for shields?... Did you even think about how stupid this would be with 4x Medkits and pocket Medics? Also, this makes them better than Maxes. Because whilst MAXs have more durability, HA's have more utility, versatility and generally do more damage. HA crash anyone? The tears would make the 40 day flood look like a splash bath.
