I've noticed lately that I kill base structures faster with an AP lightning than a Howler ant. This seems weird to me. AP lightning can shoot many types of targets, while the howler lasers can ONLY be used on player made buildings. Compared to the howler, the AP is a generalist weapon, so why is it more effective at the thing howlers are specialized for? I know that for some reason the devs think construction is OP and needs to be countered harder. That would be the reason why they added the damn cortium bombs, and have intentionally left them OP as hell. If they wanted to counter construction harder, they could have significantly increased the damage output of howlers. As a builder, I wouldn't hate it if the howler's damage were doubled.
