Red Alert System (at least on Mattherson) is terrible

    Totally unrelated... when I read "Red Alert System" I immediately went: "Space Russians!"

    F2P players contribute to the finances of the game, no one will buy a shotgun without sheep to farm with it.

    If 100% of the server pop is on a subscription you're still going to be in a queue, just a bigger one!

    Well on Waterson our population favors NC and TR, but we tend to have a full continent during an alert (long queues and all) and the population is almost always capped at 33% for each faction. Now I am not sure if SOE has a queue system like you are describing but it definitely has some kind of a hard population cap based on faction because with the current faction population imbalance I find it very unlikely that the % would stack up so nicely.

    They specifically say off hours, kid. Try reading and being informed.

    Then their idea of "off hours" is a very strange one because I logged on at 6:30 PM at the end of the alert.

    You're right it is going off at prime time. I never said their description is working as intended. ;)

    If it weren't for alerts we wouldn't be having battles of that scale on Esamir and Amerish. I think not being able to get in once in a while is a small price to pay for prime-time Hoth and Green Hill Zone, instead of just Indar Indar Indar.
