Actually BFRs ruined PlanetSide 1, they were ridiciously overpowered when released, and were almost impossible to destroy.
Funny, this is the first time I've heard that argument. How exactly did orbital strikes ruin the game. BFRs were horrible for PS1, terribly balanced at the start and remained an eye sore throughout the games lifespan. Half the guys in my old outfit quit when those things were released. If you want Mechs go play Hawken or Mechwarrior, leave your robot fetish out of PS2
I led an outfit in PS1, The Mobile Infantry or TMI. We were an airborne infantry outfit. We also liked to do armored assaults on bases. BFRs killed PS1 for us. Hopefully, there wont be anything game-breaking like that in PS2. I think Smed & Higby know what they are doing. I do need to give credit and kudos to EvilPig and the 666th. I got my start in the 666th in PS1. TMI spawned from the 666th's airborne division. I learned a lot about how to run an outfit from EP. *salute* EvilPig
I remember doing an armored assault against a base defended by a single BFR. We tried to kill that BFR with 2 or 3 Vangaurds. When we failed to kill it, I knew that PS1 was over for us. I think I logged off and never went back.
That rage comic made me LOL hard. I been practicing and psyching up for this FNO, and I have my FPS running higher than ever now. The battles will be glorious!
EZC is also good outfit, There's always a EZC guy close to me in big fights. Keep up the good work and see you on the battlefield !
So about that amerish conquest . . .FOR THE TR!!! Though i will say any fight with PHX is garunteed to be a good one!
I rolled my Vanguard with PHX for about 30 minutes protecting their sundies, but then after that I broke off and got podded by a couple mossies. They are a great group and are a valuable asset to the NC's Army. I remember them from back in the days of Jaeger, they still do just as well as they did back then, they definitely deserved the spotlight on FNO.

Yup, that was me, and I recognize your name. We capped the Traverse twice and I am pretty sure I saved your sundy 1 time when that TR Sundy got onto the bridge cause I had landed 4 AP Shots on it prior to it reaching the bridge so it was extremely weak, allowing for us to kill it quickly before it was able to be completely settled on the bridge. Keep up the good work PHX, I am proud to protect your un-guarded sunderers! I probably should have kept following your sunderer but I got off task because I wanted to land a shot on a mossie, so what happened after you guys capped the Traverse the second time?
