Hi everyone, I have this problem with Planetside 2 where, during a large(ish) battle, my screen will go black for a couple of seconds before going back to normal. I have no idea what might be causing it, but it gets really annoying having to run for cover during a fire fight all because my screen temporarily goes black for few seconds. I haven't played in a while so I'm not sure if this is a common issue or if I'm just getting one of the special snowflake issues; any input will be greatly appreciated.
My GPU doesn't run hot but I think it's overclocked out of the box (EVGA GTX 980). I'll try down clocking it and see if that helps. EDIT: Wouldn't a heat issue just cause my game to crash? This is just a black screen that last 2 maybe 4 seconds and then it returns to normal.
My first thought was bad overclock. But a factory overclock is no problem at all. Validated game files already?
