Railjack Suppresed

    Does anyone know if a suppressed railjack has a higher bullet velocity than a suppressed longshot?

    or are suppressors effects unique for each weapon?

    The RailJack while suppressed is HORRIBLE. Do not use a suppressor. And I think the Jack still has higher velocity. Don't really know, I main VS:)

    IIRC, the thread that stipulated the attachments noted like a 50% decrease of velocity on the railjack.

    I think they reduce velocity by 10% so it should still be faster, not sure though.

    Im still struggling to work out why anyone would use the Railjack. Since its functionally the same as the Longshot but has less ammo.

    But yeah, surpressors have a severe effect on all sniper rifles. I just dont think theres a good reason ever to put the two together.

    If you are suppressing the railjack it is about as good as trying to hit that same target at twice the range with a crossbow.

    Better velocity, less drop and the slight delay allows corrections after squeezing the trigger.

    The RailJack is my favorite NC sniper rifle, just an amazingly close second to the Shift. High velocity, high damage, and a sick model.

    Yeah... I must dust off my Railjack and retire the Longshot for a bit. Once I Auraxiumed the Railjack I went back to the Longshot. Don't know why to be truthful. Might have been cos every man and his dog was using it at the time and the Longshot was actually something different...

    EM4 longshot 390 suppressed
    Railjack 425 suppressed + 0.2ms fire delay (can be ignored if you perfectly track ur target - this is very difficult )

    So the Railjack is the best long range suppressed sniper rifle. I just wished the Railjack would incur a 40% reduction, then it would be like the SAS-R except that it is suppressed.

    Exact numbers from a dev on what addons do. Missing just a few things though. But it says the Railjack has a .505 debuff to bullet speed. 50.5% drop. Longshot gets a 40% drop while suppressed and the same with the Blot Driver.

    So no, do not use a suppressor on the Railjack. EVER. Kills the weapons ability to reach someone.

    ^^ This. Railjack is by far the best sniper in the game, an extra 200m/s is in no way functionally comparable to the Longshot.
