And this was our training last night! Our numbers have doubled since we opened recruitment a few months ago, and while recruitment is a slow and steady crawl with the current Vanu pop, I'm really enjoying being able to field so many players on active nights. Today, when Fireworks were released, a portion of my outfit was focused on trying to get to 50 flare kills to get their "Pyro" tag. During this process I challenged DrCoathanger from HSTL (TR) to a Firework duel, which evolved into a R8TH vs HSTL flaregun fight, which then evolved into a R8TH (VS) v HSTL (TR) v TIW (NC) Flare gun only brawl that lasted multiple hours. NUC showed up with a few people, as well as a few stragglers from DAWN and BoG. It was an absolute blast. I love that our server has such a good dynamic between factions. The fact that our little impromptu event was hardly interrupted passing by enemies is awesome. In fact, most passing by enemies came to join the fight. Purple Wraiths are a big promoter of cross faction fun and inter-faction friendships. Sure, we have fun organizing ourselves and destroying the enemies during large fights, but we can also put our differences aside and join in some fun Firework Displays! I'll be posting a video of the night's events once my brain recovers from the multi-hour firework *********** that occured.

Just a quick question. How quickly can our applications get approved and how are we contacted if we were accepted?
We need to have 2 officers agree for approval before we can accept you. None of the other officers have really been active today. If you're accepted there will be a comment on your application with our mumble and some info, and then we will add you in game whenever we see you.
Aw, it's not problem. I just wish there'd have been enough enemies for you guys to join in. Though accidentally making a random place in the middle of Amerish a hotspot was kind of hilarious.
Aw yis, is that a video of serious play I see? Did Nyxpip actually remember to press record? Yes. I only remembered to record half of it, but it's something! The gameplay is pretty rough, we're no way near MLG pro, but it IS a training after all. We'll get there. I think the guys did a pretty good job of remaining together and trying to keep organized pushes going. Our new people enjoyed the organized play and we had some pretty good captures/room defenses. Keep those new recruits coming, our family is growing! Also looking forward to some joint ops with the Vanu Alliance tonight.
