I logged into my TR today, ready to get my KDR up to 1. I logged off 10 minutes later, with a session KDR of 0.4 Why? As soon as I aimed at some poor NC, the game immediately froze for a good 20 seconds, in which I could hear nothing but the sound of my CARV repeated endlessly. I unfroze on the death screen. So, to give SOE some incentive to fix this, I am going to quit (and tell all my friends to) until these freezes are fixed. In addition, whenever I get in my mossie or scythe, I am fine until I reach a small fight. Then, I suddenly get 0-1 FPS. The last thing I see before death screen and ragequit are the spread arms of a tree, waiting for a hug.
Yeah I get some horrible fps lags after the recent patch but they goes away after a 5-10 min gameplay sometimes but sometimes they don't. I used to get 59-60 fps constant even in largest battles now I can't get constant 30, it keep flucuating between 10-50 which makes the game unplayable and yeah it freezes too and then crashes. Moreover, I get kicked for no damn reason when I am on good Kill streak. So its really annoying and game is really f*cked up.
All improvements are welcome imho. But yeah, calling a patch "Quality of Life" when most of players still has CTD, freeze, lag, etc sounds a little... welll... stupid.
I feel the same way but love the game a lot so here is what I did to still find something to do...sit in a tank all game. I find with desync/ping and almost non existent hit detection its not good and very frustrating to run around as infantry as there is not much room for error you just end up dead all the time as you will know by now, hitching and bad ping are not good when it comes to 1vs 1....you just end up dead while the game is busy lagging and having a brain fart. I have just been sitting back in a Vanguard as it offers a fair amount of protection and you will die less. Im not happy to do this long term as its not the way I usually play, I much prefer to be front line pushing forward but if things carry on like this with poor hit detection I am going to end up smashing my monitors up in rage lol, so it was play in a Vanguard or don't play at all. Hope its gona get fixed soon.
The exact problem that I'm currently facing after the hotfix. Everything seems fine after I updated my graphic card but after 30 minutes or so my FPS went down.
