I really don´t know what you have against the Pulsar. The only real difference is the ADS movementspeed and the recoil pattern which is going up and to the right, what i actually prefer over the gittery left and right recoil of the SVA-88. But SVA-88 master-race and Pulsar LSW is bad... yeah...

I don´t see a reason to spend SC for a weapon that only costs 250 certs anyway.

I don't know what's wrong with it, but I felt really uncomfortable, I didn't get bad results though (similar K/D and KPM compared to the SVA)

Skip the Carv-S, grab the SAW-S if you don't have the EM6 already.

Horrific experiences with it. The TTK seems to be forever. Catch guys AFK from behind, unload from 10m and they still almost win fire fights. Its actually quite sad.
  5. Jellypig

None. Just buy them with certs if you want the guns and save your SC on more worthwhile things.

    Carv-S > Polaris

At least the Carv-S is a SVA-88 with less perks, i.e. better than the Pulsar LSW, but worse than the SVA-88 (no ADS movement).

SUNDERER SMOKE STACKS, GOLD HARASSER TRIM, ALL THE UNDERGLOW

LMG's are on sale? Cause they sure aren't on sale for me...

I got the Auraxiom medal for the CARV-S. It was the longest, most unenjoyable spam of completionist effort I've ever expended. The only that is going worse is the newly patched striker - on second thought, screw the new striker.
    • Up x 3

If that would actually happen, then i´d just eat a broom.
  11. MaxDamage

    The S on CARV-S stands for ****.
  12. MaxDamage

    It was my first Auraxium.
That said, I had 800+ kills before they nerfed it into filth.

I know someone whose first Auraxium was with the TR Battle Rifle tho, so I feel a little outdone.
  13. Edelhonk

    yeah...the 143/698 is the same.
But now check the other stats

    Reload time: SVA is 3.065 / 4.18 sec were the CARV-S has 5.11 / 6.11 sec...oh...SVA is better here
First shot recoil multiplier: 1.5 for SVA and 1.6 for the CARV-S...and again the winner is the SVA
Vertical Recoil: 0,2 for the SVA and 0,225 for the CARV-S...damn...SVA again
Recoil Decrease: 13 for the SVA and 12...oh...SVA is the better
ADS movment speed multiplier: 0.75 for the SVA and only 0,5 for the CARV-S....wow...SVA again
CoF ADS: 0.1/0.35/3 with the SVA vs 0.1/0.4/3 from the CARV-S...well...SVA
CoF Hip: Stand 2,5/3/5/7 Crouch 2/2,5 on the SVA and 3/4/7/7-2.5/3 for the CARV-S...SVA (becomes boring, huhu?)
Bulletspeed: 630 m/s SVA and 600 CARV-S...i think i dont need to say it again, right?

AND now after all the catagorys the SVA is better here the ones where the CARV-S beats the SVA

    tatattatattataaaa

Ammo 100/300 for the CARV-S and 75/225 for the SVA
    and
    and...
    and.......well...thats all

whoever in SOE is responsible for the SVA and the CARV-S in its current forms ingame should be kicked in the *** till he/she could clean the shoes of the kicker with his tongue

In the short time I spent on Connery post PU02, the CARV-S's recoil feels significantly better. Does that mean it is actually a viable gun now?

Can't wait for Connery to go back up so I can take it for a spin.
  15. Posse

Magazine size is the single most important of all the stats mentioned there (after damage/ROF which are the same for both), of course I'm not saying the CARV-S is better than the SVA-88 because in the trade off the SVA wins, but downgrading the importance of a large magazine size is just wrong.

    Mmm.. SVA
  17. Gav7x

The saw s is like a EM6 with 23 less RPM and more atachment choices
  18. Rabbitofdoom

Avoid Anchor after last patch its way overpriced.

CARV-S is a very underrated gun, IMO. Best gun in game? No. Still pretty good? Yes. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of it.

Haven't gotten the chance to test its PU2 version yet, but I imagine it'll be even better now with its all-round reduced recoil. Might well be worth a try now, even if you didn't like it before.
