I was told yesterday that easmir was the easiest place to find pumpkins (PS4) and im wondering if that was fully right. Also, how do you check the amount of seeds you have?
I personally found Indar to be the easiest. Between the south east warpgate and Tawrich Tech Plant. At least when not flying. (Though it may not be that easy if you dont control that particular warpgate) Esamir is good because you easily see pumpkins while flying. The map is really open. The only way that i know of to check pumpkin seeds is to go to the ingame store and click buy on an item buyable by seeds (masks). It will then tell you how many seeds you have.
esamir is the best because orange stands out among a sea of white and shades of grey, ether fly around in an ESF if you are good at flying or drive around in a harrasser or wraith flash depending on whether you want speed or stealth.
Start north(-east) of Saerro Listening Post, drive to Rime Analytics, continue to Matthersons Triumph, then back to the Tech plant. On the east side of the Tech Plant, move north through the base with the two bridges across the road, back to Saerro. Repeat. Or Drive circles around Elli Amp Station, Elli Tower and west until you hit the bridge to the south-east warpgate and back. Those are the places I've found my pumpkins, seeing multiple pumpkins per minute (although many get 'stolen' lol).
The best way to farm pumpkins would probably be to have a list of all the locations where they can spawn. It's not random, and over the years I'm sure some people have compiled a good location list. But I have no idea how you would put it to use efficiently. There's really no substitute for just going by your own memory. But farming pumpkins is such a waste of time IMO. 5000 seeds for the best helmet? Good luck with that. Let's see you go spend the 100 hours it might take to get that many. Hunting pumpkins is possibly more boring than ghost-capping an entire continent. I guess you could always spend money on boosts! (hahaha yeah right, come on).
