[Suggestion] Pump Shot Gun Slug Sniping

    I recommend everyone to exploit this to the max until it is nerfed. I'm using it now to great effect, even though I believe that it should be nerfed, until the devs see everyone headshotting with a pump shotgun at 70+meters, I don't think it will change.

    Whining for the sake of whining? Ran out of other stuff to moan about?

    If you think about it a little and/or actually use PA slug to snipe, you'll see why it's fine.

    Better yet, make a video of your gameplay, sniping moving targets at 70+ meters to "great effect" with it, and prove SOE and everyone else that you're right. (no cherry picks, just continuous gameplay please, I can make a cherry pick video of a Jackhammer being the best weapon in the game if I so wish)

    Pump shotgun slugs travel really slow.. If the target is moving and at distance, the lead time is really hard to work out.
    I run a phobos PA with 4x scope and slugs on my medic. It is great for finishing off the enemy that killed the guy your rezing.
    It is VERY situational.. Great for counter sniper work or shooting dudes that are standing still.
    Shooting at ranged sprinting targets is just a waste of ammo, at least in my hands...

    slugs have always been great for sniping targets that aren't moving. The problem, as already mentioned, is that the round is so slow that leading the target becomes near impossible. To boot you still need 2 head shots. Currently the 4x scope lets you do this, again as long as the target is still, but you have to factor in that at 4x with a shot gun some times the minimum change in arc distance is 2 or more pixels meaning you can't always get a head shot even on a stationary target at 70m.

    LOL, funny how some of us can do things with weapons, the slug is like using a slingshot at long range, and then ducking back into cover to avoid the retaliatory shots.. Its slow, lots of recoil, have to shoot once every 2 seconds or so, and the target gets mad and comes to forums to ask for nerf.

    I thought the shotgun users were claiming shotguns were ineffective past 10m... are they now changing their story? Hmm.

    You do realize that a shotgun shooting slugs and a shotgun shooting... well, shot... are basically two different weapons, right?

    Slugs are ****** up close, shot is ****** at range. You can't switch on the fly, you have to go to an infantry terminal.

    I haven't found that, sorry.
    Thats why I use slugs. So I don't have to worry about short range, or long.

    Pump action shottys one shot me as HA all the time within 25 meters...anyone who says different is lying, and I NEVER stand still.

    Hey I use them on my Eng and my Med..but im not gonna lie and say they are fair...

    I'm not asking for a nerf.. I'm telling the the complainers to use it rather than complain. I am actually using it, and I get hate tells for it and people saying "haxx" to me.

    I feel like it will be nerfed eventually due to it's power over range, bullet drop is about as strict as a vanguard pellet which isn't really that hard to compensate for.
