    Hello fellow planetmans, DR1FTER here.

This is mainly aimed towards the PS4 community but the advice can be beneficial towards the PC playerbase as well.

I'm already seeing a few threads complaining about the update and I need to interject.
For those of you who don't know I am one of two mods on the issue tracker that approve/disapprove and test bugs for the PS4 version of Planetside 2.
It is our job as mods to be the link between the playerbase and DBG using the issue tracker
That being said, it's quite interesting to see users take the time to post, with such burning passion, threads that complain about bugs and occasionally call DBG incompetent.
Think what you would like about DBG, but realize that you literally have the power to improve the game through the issue tracker. I'm not kidding, when I looked at the patch notes earlier today, I was honestly surprised to see a handful of issues that were resolved recently simply due to players doing their part and posting them.
The time it takes for one to complain about a bug or a problem could have been used to post on the issue tracker and get it resolved.
If you understand, good. Let's move forward

    Link to issue tracker: https://dgcissuetracker.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
To work with the issue tracker one must:
    1. If you don't already have one, create a user account.
    2. Hit on the nice blue CREATE button near the top right of the page.
    3. Verify the game (in this case Planetside) and what type of issue it is (bug or improvement request).
    4. The first thing to do is type out the problem in the summary bar, a list of similar issues will pop up in a list - check to see if your issue has already been posted and upvote it so it'll get a bigger priority for DBG.
    5. If your the first user to post about the issue, you would need to go through the three tabs labeled "General Details", "Issue Reproduction" and "Environment Details". Details and specifics are the key to this step. Be as descriptive as possible ESPECIALLY with the Issue Reproduction steps(pictures, videos and other forms of media can help a ton with this).
    6. After submitting the issue, go ahead and share it around for it to get more attention. You can even message me privately to let me know you've posted an issue.
Posting an issue only takes about 10 minutes at most, 5 if you're used to posting.

The update hit, so there will probably be a bunch of new bugs out there.

    Thanks everyone,
    -DR1FTER
