Today on the PTS I noticed that some weapons had their cert prices increased to match their SC cost. This is presumably done to increase the attraction of buying the weapons with SC rather than with certs. This mainly affects weapons whose cert prices were cheaper than their SC price. It does not affect weapons that cost 700 SC/700 certs, although several weapons have been moved to the maximum price tier.
Would be interesting to know whats going happen to those weapons that have been increased in price and that we already bought with Certs? Are we going to loose them and their add-ons and have to re-buy them at their higher price? Or will we gain negative certs for them? Isn't this a good time to give us a full cert reset. So we can choose to either buy them again or not to buy those weapons again?
I noted this yesterday, I don't think its intentional as it coincided with them adding the option to buy cosmetics with certs on the PTS, I'm pretty sure this is just a testing thing. I mentioned it in a thread and someone said Higby had referenced it saying 'Don't get used to it' or some such. In summary just a PTS glitch. Do check out the new helmets though as you can buy them on the PTS now!
The error of being able to buy cosmetics with certs have been fixed. Currently camos for example cost 500sc or 500sc. Still it was fun while it lasted and I got to try out some helmets and camos.
I think people are over reacting to somthing they put on the test server. They made it where you can buy everything, including cosmetics with certs on the test server so that people could test them. They just made all the SC costs the cert cost, which affected the weapon cert cost also.
