Premium Member and I dont want a free month

Good on SOE trying to attract more paying customers it can only help the game.
Bad on SOE for kicking their paying members while trying to do good.

I already pay for my membership, a free month is a nights worth of beer or a pack of smokes (Yea Canada sin taxes...) it will go unnoticed. I would much rather have something unique. A second free camo/decal for your loyal premium members or something else unique would be much better, its not like it costs you anything and it would go a long way to make your premium members happy

Loyal Customers = Free Camo + Free Month
Premium Members = Free Camo + ??????

I'll agree that the premium members should have maybe gotten something better in addition to the free camo.

And you get more content (new players) because SOE gave e free month membership to non premium members.

You actually get that for each faction. Plus a unique title.

Im told that the normal cost of all the camos would be $45, so im not really in a positon to complain about them.

Just because something has a $5 pricetag slapped on it, doesn't mean its worth $5.

I do feel a little cheated since the three month membership is also on sale like 2 weeks after I got mine. A kind of slap in the face if you would. I understand the daily sales and when that comes around i fell like hey I took a risk not waiting even if the next day the item is on sale. But the membership rates I felt where set in stone not something that changes month to month.

to tell you the truth after this I think I will not spend any more money on the game which is sad. I even bought the black revolver just to support the game. I fell like they are trying to encourage more people to sign up not really trying to keep the people who are paying to continue paying and as I rank up my need to spend money goes down and down, so I think soe should really reward the people who do buy camo and pay for membership and in general spend money to support the game more. I think they should really give something extra to the people who currently support the game, the member sales are nice but nothing I have not seen in the standard sale.

I would like people who spend more then a curtain amount of dollars a month in sc or have a membership to get something special every month, could be on a ladder system also if 1-10 you get x if 10+ you get x and y. It could be camo and not even that unique ones, they can just take one of the current camo file and adjust the colors to make it slightly different. For all I care it could be a halo of light that gives away my position to the enemy when I wear it. I just want to fell like I get something that non paying members can't and miss out on by not currently supporting the game. And if you make weapon reskins like the ns-11a vs the n-11 platinum make the attachments work on both so I don't have recert a gun just to have a different skin.

This is why I love the alpha squad camos and why I really which I had one. Something that shows people you love and support this game, which is also no longer available.

So props on seeing it as a business deal that in the end will support something that you already support.

I talked to at least three people who said they where most likely not going to renew after this ( the random price drop for no reason made them feel cheated on there plan). So they might gain some but might lose the same amount if not more. And when you have 1000+ certs sitting around wonder where to use them the membership does not look so usefull. And since I hate playing alerts the priority queuing will not be missed much at all if any, heck that way I can stay away from the Zerg back capping fest that is a alert.

I don't want a free month either, i just want paying members to get queue priority over the billion guys that got free membership and are now overloading member queues.

This is really getting stupid. Why exactly do people think that members are entitled to more than other people who've paid?

Not talking about the fact that members apparently don't get a free month, because that should happen.

Because in we lost something this month while everyone else gain something.

We lost our ability to move continent to continent with no wait, while also getting shafted with the new 3 month deal. While every one else gained faster queuing times and the ability to use the member sales ( which makes them lose a bit of appeal).

I was not that interested in becoming a member before. I prefered to throw money down on SC to buy some stuff I want. But now I see the difference. I got a hailstorm on member sale that I wouldn't have bought otherwise. If my economical situation had been better (being a student is not good for your economy) I would seriously consider doing the subscription thing to support the game and to get the extra perks. That will have to wait until I'm done and get a job. Hopefully I still like the game enough to sink more money into it then.

You gained everything except the free month. You also still have the same access to the priority queue, just that the value of the priority is decreased. It wasn 't removed.

ill gladly give you my free month i didnt want or need it anyway, the camo is alright i guess.
expected a little more having thrown $500-600 down in the first three months to have mostly everything "rebalanced" due to it being put up for sale prior to them doing a balance pass

i was thinking 2x 50% off any item of your choice from the store in form of a code

the code would be universal but only applicable 2x and only on current member accounts, anyone else would try to use the code it would not work

Read the OP and all I saw was "I got something free but I want more". As a non-member It's a pretty good reward. Not quite tempted to pay for more, but we'll see after the month is up and I start earning less certs.

So when you buy some food and that one item you buy was $13.99.
Now it is on sale for $9.99 a couple weeks later.
Did that store slap you in the face too?

This stuff happens all the time here in the USA. It happens over a million times a day all over the place.
It happens elsewhere too around the world.

This is not a product I have received this is a service I am still receiving. Your example is like the daily sales which I have no problem if I buy something and next day it is on sale.

This is liking going to the car wash, paying and the while your car is still being washed they come out and change the price. Would you not in this case be angry would feel that since your car has not fnished being washing you should have also gotten this price.

I give SOE 1 free month of not having my CC for their loyalty to paying members!
