[Suggestion] Please Reconsider Continent Perks

    So someone plays and dies 37 dies with a HA, with them just respawning again and again...
    What is the point to killing them exactly? So they re-spawn as a HA endlessly?
    Get out of a spawns, kill the same HA guy thrice, twice, well they'll just respawn as a HA as who'd use vehicles?
    Pull your HA? From a flanking sundy I'd hope, and do this endless, till the people cap the base?

    Why bother not charging in recklessly for kills, when there is no delay, no cost to dying?
    Why exactly are they as strong as they are, if there is no price attached? If there isn't one, why bother with anything inferior.
    Why bother with a Medic if you can get a HA every single time you die, regardless if it was 5 seconds ago 16 times in a row.

    If there is no price, no risk, people just spam HA without care for anything, not death, not enemy fire, no thought.
    Any death is rendered meaningless, due to the singular rambo players not even having to worry about loss of access due to excessive number of deaths.

    Now picture a HA, that even if you kill, the same player will have it back without even a delay or cost to any recklessness they had.
    If you want to be able to be infantry 24/7 go play COD.
    As either you can't handle not being reckless, or you just want to slaughter everything while being reckless.

    You died to a tank - use your brain better, and it won't happen as often.



    While you totally and completely failed to understand the point i was making, then proceeded to do exactly what i was on about, i hope the above rehash of your post gives you some insight as to the idiotic point of view youre trying to push.
    If some1 wants to HA all day every day they can, but god forbid some1 wants to pilot a lib all day, or drive a sundy.
    Its this level of hypocrisy that needs to stop.

    So what if some1 uses a tank all day, who gives a **** really?
    Be honest now, they're not getting anything done are they?
    Padding their k/d means nothing, or perhaps i does to you, but thats your problem not everyone elses.

    I also find it funny that you mention killing the same operator thrice, then complain they keep coming back.
    Well if youre killing them, again, whats the problem?

    Next time you want to reply to me, please try your best not to just repeat yourself over and over and over.
    I know that you think having a large post will make you look cooler, or smarter, or whatever, but the fact is your simply fluffing it up in an attempt to intimidate me, it wont work.
    I will however get bored with repetition.

    Im honestly completely and totally confused about why people come to a game that has, written into the lore, that its impossible to die, and then complain they cant permanently remove a threat.

    I suppose most people can only understand pictures. They dont have much ability to comprehend text.
    So let me spell it out for you.

    I advocate all parts of the game.
    If some1 wants to play medic 24hrs a day 7 days a week they can.
    If some1 wants to mine cortium 24hrs a day 7 days a week they can.
    If some1 wants to fly an ESF 24hrs a day 7 days a week they can.
    If some1 wants to provide radar in a valk 24hrs a day 7 days a week they can.

    I have not once stated my 'love for vehicles' so please leave your salty preconceived notions at the door.....****

    I dont pretend to be able to dictate how other should be playing.
    There seems to be a trend around here to do so, and if it means ***** getting on my back for arguing the other way so be it.

    This game isnt about your personal little battle with your personal little outfit on your own personal server.
    I can and will **** up your day, repeatedly, because you let me.
    I have absolutely no trouble dealing with tanks, ESFs, libs, sundies, galaxys, lightning, prowler, HAs, Medics, engineers.
    I dont care if you come back again and again and again, we are fighting an everlasting war afterall.

    You acuse me of jumping down throats, youre dam right i am juming down throats, because to be quite honest its getting tiresome trying to be nice about all this.

    Theres 1 simple thing i will say to you and anyone else who has a problem with people 'spamming' stuff.
    Go play another game, this is too hardcore for you


    Again i state my confusion for people joining an everlasting war, then complaining its everlasting.........

    You can one-shot a heavy, whom at best has a rocket-launcher.
    Vehicles however, can one-shot infantry, are faster, more durable, and have more powerful weaponry.
    There is a reason you don't spawn as vehicles rather than Infantry.

    Anything can kill infantry, not everything can even damage a vehicle.

    You want the entire point of killing the tank, to remove the threat, and to deny them a tank to not even delay them a minute if they died in it.

    A liberator can literally blow up anything on the battle field, and must be focus fired upon by numerous G2A or A2A sources, while wrecking anything.
    An infantryman can.... usually kill a flash or infantryman, with some having the ability to damage vehicles.
    Vehicles are more efficient, more armored, and more heavily armed killing machines.
    They amplify any skill.

    You know why people call MAXes Skill-suits?

    I dont care about one hit kills, or how much health some1 has.

    If some1 wants to dedicate themselves to 1 part of the game, they can.
    I personally dont do that, i personally think its not enjoying the whole game, but if some1 wants to do that they can.
    Thats my point, nothing more, but ill admit ive been drawn into a more borad discussion with yourself and the other dude.

    The problem i have is, people seem to think 1 particular playstyle is 'A OK' to dedicate to, but another is the devils work.
    This is nonsense, and not a line of thought that should be accepted.

    I know why morons call them skill suits, its an excuse for failure......

    Let me spell out how to kill a max for you, just to make your life easier in game.
    KILL ITS SUPPORT FIRST

    Its a simple notion, i realise that most people cant think more than 2 feet infront of their gun, but you really need to start doing it.
    Start thinking about your approach to a situation and youll start realising that nothing in this game is OP, nothing 'cant be stopped' and everything is a missive cert pinata waiting to pop.
    MAXs are weak, slow, and tbh, underpowered as ****, but what do i know huh, im only the one who has no problems with them, or anything you list as 'unfair'.
    Who has the problem here realy?

    OFC you don't. You can't stand not having a tank to pull every second, regardless if you blew all 750 nanites in 5 minutes.

    A vehicle is a power-house.
    This is a war-game, where territory control is everything; Vehicles are potent tools, not cannon fodder.

    They can presently dedicate themselves, with actually thinking not just spamming a vehicle as if it was the basic infantry.
    You want basically unlimited Free vehicles, that literally demolish everything but themselves unless outnumbered severely.
    Grand example being ******* aircraft which are included.

    Excuse for failure, on what side?
    The one complaining that they can't chain pull Max-suits into every corridor, or the one complaining about how a MAX suit is a twin-gunned death machine?
    The irony here being, MAXes can be one-shot by tank-mines, Archer fire is dangerous, and can't be pulled near constant.
    You use it wisely or lose it.

    I kill MAXes for fun. I love my archer.
    I duel ESFs with the thing.
    However, being able to pull them every single minute is just plain idiocy.
    Why? Oh gee, twin guns, grand damage resistance, large health pool perfect for tanking the living **** out of things.
    Easy certs.

    Same as pulling a MBT endlessly, use it properly, and you can get massive kill-streaks with barely any risk.
    This is due to how it works - A tank isn't a skin, it's a vehicle with all the perks of a vehicle.
    Infantry are inferior in capability, in all but taking territory control points, which is the focus of this game.

    This isn't a solo "Like tanks? , You never need spawn as infantry or worry, you have unlimited access every second"
    This is a war game about land control - Vehicles are force multipliers not races to play.

    You want a game, where people can play as vehicles as a character type, play a vehicle simulation.
    You get endless vehicles, without a cost.
    This is Planetside, they are force multipliers, they are not meant to be your Character type, race or similar.
    They are a vehicle, to be used wisely or pay the price in time waiting.

    Obviously one can infer that you support dedicated vehicle use, and therefore it is a safe assumption based on the provided evidence. ;)

Oh, but I wouldn't want to infringe on Jack's right to live the way he wants to." Imbalance is the murdering of a game, and on this forum the only thing we can actually do is talk about it. :p

    Once again, still haven't said anything even remotely about 1v1s, tank/air vs. infantry, class vs. class, or anything of the sort. It is your salt-encrusted, preconceived notions which lead you to believe it so. :p

    Funny, I don't recall you being nice to me, nor to anyone else. All attempts at discussion are met with all the same hostility and aggression. That's OK, it opens up the possibility of sarcasm and dry humor in my responses, which I do enjoy.

    I don't see why you would even think this, nor why anyone would not want an everlasting war in a videogame about war. What if it ended? It would just become a racing game with really bad physics. :p
