Don't try to put the current game under water, this will not work. Arena reloaded disaster. Create a new continent with islands, ships, submarines, without Airplanes. So you need ships to transport tanks and players to the islands. Players with divesuits for a short amount of time underwater, so they can move faster and fight. Ships and submarines to spawn and transport them. Underwater station buildung, with pipes to connect islands.
If I understand you correctly, you want the devs to go full out there instead of making tanks drive underwater. Well maybe there will be ships and subs, but that takes time. You can't just pull a battleship, cruiser or submarine with torpedoes out of the hat, you know? And maybe the construction system will be extended as such, it is at least possible. For now, let them work on the continent first, so we have a first framework. We can add other stuff later on.
