Please explain like I was your grand father: the harrasser nerf

    Zathrus must have the battlefield awareness of a mildly boiled potato and his stats show that the skills match the battlefield awareness level. Magrider is _HANDS DOWN_ the best MBT when it comes to fighting harassers.

    I can't remember the last time I lost to a 2/3 or 3/3 harasser in a duel where both had 100% life, especially not as a 2/2 mag, no matter what gun setup i run.

    haha... yes my stats have always sucked... because I have never cared, payed attention to or checked stats. I play for fun and tend to get over aggressive which gets me killed more often than not.

    In addition, I would probably stroke out if my stats concerned me since I was stricken with a neurological disorder about 15 years ago that causes my reflexes and accuracy of hand eye coordination to vary greatly on a day to day basis. It can actually vary on an hourly basis.

    On a bad day... I do really suck...I am pretty much cannon fodder... but I still manage to have fun.
    But on good days I am good enough to raise cannon fodder to just below average or average... so if you consider that it means on the good days I do pretty well.

    So stats are probably not a good measure for you.
    I have brought this up, not because it is upsetting my stats... my stats do not really concern me at all.

    The reason I have brought this up, is when I am having a good day and I see a harrasser equipped with weapons containing DPS that can kill a main battle tank in 7 to 10 seconds... and the main battle tank requires 12 to 16 seconds to kill due to reload times, etc. then it seems like things are a bit out of balance.

    I have gamed since the 1990's and have seen this before in earlier games when game devs are putting "pet weapons" in the game... Many of them obviously enjoy playing TR... the weapons illustrate that.

    I think they need to do a better job of weapons balance is all... lets get rid of "pet weapons"

    to add, those dps kill times are estimates and may not be perfect, but the ratio of 10 seconds for vulcan weapon vs a minimum of 12 for the main tank weapons is fairly accurate.

    also... I am hearing a new pet weapon has emerged.... sigh

    In my experience since the patch, the harrasser is almost as good for AV as pre-patch, but is worse for anti-infantry. The NC cannister use to be really good at close range, quick in and out attacks on groups of infantry, now you may as well just use the kobalt in almost any anti-infantry situation.

    I think that Harassers are much too strong for their cost. Let them be 350 just like a Lightning and I'll be happy with them. But those ttk numbers.... A 1-man Harasser is no match for a 1-man MBT, so I'll assume we're talking 2 people per vehicle here. Tanks have more hit points than Harassers and access to the same top guns, so those numbers you put out are just flat wrong. Now, if you're talking about a 1-man tank vs a 2-man Harasser, well that's a different story, but you put yourself in that position by not having a gunner.
