So I usually run the game at minimum settings, to get at east 60 fps at all times. I've recently tried playing on ultra/high as a test to see if I could bear the shifting frame rate. For some reason it seems like the shaking issue on far away infantry is much more pronounced on higher settings. I'm assuming this is some sort of optimization quirk that trades animation quality to make these settings feasible. Anyone know more?
I'm having the same issue when I'm trying to snipe with a x12 scope, the infantry just shakes around back and forward while moving. Sometimes they have no head but I can still render the body. I wondered if it was a problem with my bad graphics card drivers, since I've found out that NVIDIA's GTX 970 is having issues with fps drops and texture flicker, I've been trying to find a solution for all these problems specially the shaking infantry but so far no luck, it's really annoying to randomly shoot at enemies hoping to get a hit. Settings preset "Ultra" OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K @ 4.5GHz GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB RAM:: G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 8GB DDR3 2400 SSD: Samsung EVO 250GB HDD: Seagate Hybrid Drive 1TB
From what I understand the skittering infantry at range thing is due to the fact that they are tweaking how much movement info you get on distant targets
I have the same problem, i truly thought it was an influx of speed hackers. But it's just movement info being sent at a different priority from other information. Apparently some space math is involved, loosely translated it means your healer dies
