I have the same problem with the game closing unexpectedly. After about the fourth try, however, Indar loaded to 100%, froze, and then crashed a few minutes later. Windows 7 x64
So we all get a new FREE character slot to fix the broken game? or do we have to Keep one Slot for things to happen?
Same problem here on Emerald. Played for hours last night with minimal issues. This morning, I log in, a new 60MB (approx) patch downloaded and installed (9/9) with no game update notice in game. I get to the character screen, click start game, loads to 100% on Indar, the game closes before I spawn in the WG, to desktop with no error message. needed a quick PS2 fix, what a tease.
same for me, someone should probably go to Reddit and tell the devs and maybe tell them about these forums here aswell when you're at it
Another " fine " patch This is becoming like some sort of tradition or bad joke. SOE guys....do you even test your magical patches before running them into live system ?? Unbelievable.
NO not working for me.(like all other specialist hints here) i get in with new char for about 2 seconds, crash - out again.
created a new character and checked the skip tutorial box... crashed to desktop deleted new character created a new character and left skip tutorial blank... and it works... hit esc, log out and logged into all other characters with no problems. deleted newly made character and still able to log into all other characters still.
I know!! SOE is playing Destiny today, maybe we ... should... too.... But then again this game is free to play ... "was it 1/3 or 2/3s of my soul for the Vortek?"
