    Hi,

    These are my specs

    ati radeon pro 7800 HD series (omega 14.501 drivers)
    i5 intel processor
    4 GB ram

    Ever since the 64 bit patch updates (the patch where we couldnt use 32bit for a week or two) the 32 bit client freezes and then crashes every session during random occasions, some sessions can last as long as 2 h and some btw 5 to 10 minutes. Then bammm!!

    Ive tried almost every workaround on the internet but still no luck.

    The reason I dont want to run the 64bit version is that the lack of its stability stuttering hicthing throttling framerates

    32bit runs very smooth for me even on ultra settings. So I am simply looking for help.

    thx,

    I ran into the same problem. There is no fix. Turn on virtual memory and play the game with 64-bit if you can get over the hitching. Just be ready to die a lot and hear squadmembers complain every time they hop in your vehicle.

    Higby stated on Reddit that 32-bit was going to be supported, but it hasn't been functional since the valkyrie update at the end of august. Smedly added that performance issues were the top priority, but nothing seems to have come from that either.

    I also had one of those rare over-10-minute sessions, so my best guess is it has nothing to do with PS4 coding and is due to who/what is being loaded into memory. My best guess is defective cosmetic items, but that also doesn't seem like something anybody wants to deal with.

    Get ready for useless technical assistance and links to DIY guides on how to improve performance but don't actually work. The only real solutions are the devs fixing their game or you buying new hardware.

    @Jakenheimer

    Ok cheers buddy I just hope they release a fix for the 32bit very soon I mean its been ages now and still no fix, I most definitely will not be investing in new hardware as I bought this pc recently just for planetside which was functioning very very well until these latest updates. thanks for taking your time and trying to help me out.

    Any other suggestions are welcome, perhaps ram could be an issue now? Should I upgrade it? Add another 4gig perhaps.

    ANANPOWERS

    That trick doesn't work anymore tested it on 32bit system, it used to work though prior to latest update

    I think ı solved the problem will test it more tomorrow, I just added 4gb of extra ram. This game does require more than 4gbs for it to run smooth on 64bit. So minimum specs are 8gb! Change it daybreak company.
