Planetside 2 Recording gameplay

    SO I am trying to put together some clips of gameplay and i am wondering what is the best way to record PS2.
    The IG video thing has meh quality and I can never get it to stop recording.

    what are some good alternatives to record my gameplay?

    Open Broadcaster Software is quite nice. With a bit of tweaking in the settings you can record with good quality and no impact on your ingame FPS. There is some bug with MP3 audio atm so just switch it to AAC.

    I've used this as well. It's free, and open source. Works pretty well for either streaming to Twitch or recording.

    OBS is good, and free but I've never used it to record and store game play.
    MSI afterburner is also free and records game play. You can manually set the quality and use the latest beta version to use a rip off version of Nvidia shadow play. It doesn't always work, but it does mostly.
    Or use Nvidia shadow play if you have a compatible GPU.
