My sound mutes after a few seconds after logging in. It doesn't matter what class I'm in, it doesn't matter what continent. I go to options and switch sound device, then they all disappear and only system default remains. I log out/in and I have sound again and then mutes again after a few seconds.
After I place my motion sensor and it despawns I am unable to place another unless I resupply. I think this is a bug.
Detect bolts seem to crash your game if equipped for a while. the NS crossbow also has a weird 2nd scope that appears when you ADS and a black splodge appears while running. Another thing, placing a motion sensor crashes your game.
The explosive crossbow now deals damage, but there is no splash damage against enemies while I can still hurt myself with ease. Edit: I can hurt enemy vehicles, but not infantry
If you are testing it in VR, there is no splash damage there which would explain this. It works fine in all the continents
Enemy infils sometimes have a dorito when cloaked. Was playing around with an outfitmate last night and whenever he was moving while cloaked and I was looking in his direction he had a dorito. We had the new detectors up so I imagine it has something to do with them automatically giving moving enemies a dorito.
Try shooting a crossbow until it runs out of ammo. The model will glitch and cover half of the screen like it was 1 millimiter from your face.
As of 2/10 patch - Crossbow is still bugging out when you run out of ammo. Its better now, it doesn't take up 1/3 of your screen, but it gets misaligned. I had a 2x reflex and laser sight on it and it was cockeyed and misaligned after running out of ammo. It happens when you ADS, but then it seem to have cleared itself up without resupplying after a bit of movement.
Not sure if it's a bug, but the NS Sniper Rifles can be equipped on non-Infiltrator classes (except MAX). NS Sniper Rifle (all) - Sights are not aligned with all scopes - Barrel attachments do not appear at end of the barrel, but at the mid-point where the rifle body and barrel meet - No sound
Cloaking bugs: When cloaking while stationary, your cloak will sometimes default to the highest visibility level (as though you were sprinting). This is visible in third person. This bug is present on PTS and on live and has been in the game since beta. Most infiltrators know about it, and that moving a tiny amount will "snap" the cloak to the correct level of visibility. However: The time it takes for the cloak to change visibility levels has been altered. It now takes significantly longer for the cloak to go from a solid look when moving or standing to a clear look when crouching and stationary. One used to be able to stand cloaked, then crouch, and during the time it takes to crouch, become less visible. Cloaking and then swapping weapons or to an equipment slot without moving will make the model of whatever you're holding appear in the default high visibility level of cloak. Your hands do not change visibility, only the model of weapon/equipment. Not tested in third person, but I can guess that it makes the weapon look obvious. The above also affects darklight flashlights. Someone shone a darklight flashlight on me as I was trying to recreate the weapon swap bug, and I noticed that the weapon model did not glow. The stalker cloak can sometimes get "stuck" permanently in a high level of visibility. Moving does not help, and this should be considered a separate issue from the first bug I mentioned. Crossbow bug: Recon darts fire above the centre of aim and have no drop. This might be a consequence of them being a projectile which should be affected by drop, and is therefore launched at a slight upward angle. Either they need to be given drop, or the angle they are fired at needs to be reduced to level.
NS Sniper rife scopes don't work, they are completely out of alignment. Also, when equipping them, they appear as Commissioners
Phantom and KSR-35 have slower ADS time when compared to Impetus, which makes it much better at closer ranges. These weapons should be identical, so fix asap.
Invisibility State Shifting Issues + Stalker Cloak Date: Early morning 2/13/2014 After the latest mini patch giving stalker cloak an increase from 8 seconds to 18 seconds duration. Tested cloaking visibility states: Stage 1, full sprint most visible as usual I think... need another tester watching to confirm. Stage 2, normal while moving seemed well... normal while moving. [BUG]: Stage 3 crouch cloaked and stationary did not trigger when stopping all movement while crouched. Unlike LIVE servers, I had to uncloak and re-cloak myself while in a fixed position to obtain that near invisible state. On LIVE hunter cloak also has this problem, but it can be fixed by wiggling yourself slightly after you stop while crouched. This resolves the bug and gets into Stage #3 for whatever time remains on your cloak. I tried to wiggle my best for you Dev team... I have failed. Stage 3 could not be wiggled into. Needs a fix since the work around requires both uncloaking and then re-cloaking yourself. This has a 270+ meter double farting noise and is counter productive to the purpose of the cloak. If someone else possibly with a friend watching them, or recording could confirm that would be awesome. Also please do wiggle to make this more entertaining for us all! Yay cloak change!
shade now has a 'reload' animation that removes all heat build up, is this a bug as it seems to work directly against what the heat mechanic is meant to do; penalize us for overfiring
PTS Amrish Bison Lift pads have hugh frame lag goes from 60 fps flying to 14 fps on pad. Just horrable fps. Please fix this before you release the update.
