Pilots & Gunners: Come to Connery

Flying solo is the way to go, going out there like old WWI pilots only to come back for ammo and a cup-o-tea.

Trick is to know where friendly ground forces are, stay within their AA bubble and you'd me amazed what you can do even if outnumbered.

Sadly the days of effective solo flying are over. Sure you can turn a profit but it is a shadow of what many of us were able to do before. I stand by what I said though you need a wing man to be truly effective, any friendly forces not on comms with me might as well be the other faction for as much good they do.

It's certainly a pretty big challenge during prime-time if you're on the same continent as a coordinated enemy air wing. Fun when it goes well, but frustrating when you have to constantly choose between "impossible fight" and "run away."

Still, I'd rather have the skies be too busy than not busy enough. The only thing worse than being locked out of the air is having an aircraft and nobody to shoot.
