Its obvious it got nerfed. Pre-CAI the Vanguard was the mid-tier DPS dealer, the Magrider had a tiny bit less DPS. And yes, DPS matters a lot because jumping in and out of cover isnt instant. After CAI thr Vanguard had the lowest DPS. Before CAI the Vanguard had the same health but higher armor rating to make it stronger. After CAI its armor advantage was turned into health, meaning it took the same time to kill the Vanguard but it takes longer to repair, a lot longer than 20% as 4000 health can be healed just before you overheat a second time, meaning it takes a large part of the cooldown period (regardless of stopping just before overheat) to repair the Vanguard while the other tanks are already rolling. It also takes longer to get out of the burning state. And the advantage pf repairing more effective health is gone too because the armor is gone. And lastly the shield. Before it was a perfect survival tool. The fight didnt go your way? (pretty common for a Vanguard). Activate shield and find safety for repairs. Only fools charged with it. After CAI it needs to be activated much sooner and to have any equivalent protection as before you need to have your enemy in the frontal arc, but you have the least agile tank and the largest side. Sied-nerf through more gravity and slower projectiles, making it harder to fight Magriders. So yeah, it got nerfed.
Yes the prowler has more damage (when deployed) No the Magrider hasn't more agility becouse when i'm in combat i must face YOU or i 1: die 2: can't fire at you 3 the Vanguard has more health, thus, will always win a 1v1
Prowler has more damage in its two shots than the Vanguard has, without the deployment.. So it has the most damage out of the MBTs, and it doesn't need the ability to achieve it. Magrider strafing: You can keep frontal armor to target at all times. Vanguard has more health, since armor was converted into health: the TTK on the vanguard did not change. Repair times however did - as did the Magrider's DPS, as the reload speed was improved. When the Enemy deals more damage faster, and you have the longest reload, that extra health is canceled out by the enemy's firepower and your lack of it: Example of this is simple. 100 H & 5 D vs 50 H & 15 D. Double the health, 3 times the damage - Entirely counters the health advantage.. Since the lower health will not be a problem, since the higher health opponent will lose their health faster than you. With this difference, you have ample time to kill the higher health opponent. The Shield is what allows a Vanguard to win 1v1's, not the health. If it was the health, then sherlock, people wouldn't blame the shield when face-tanking Vanguards in a Prowler. Which they have.

You said it wasn't nerfed. It was. "nerfed" does not mean "it's now worse than anything else", it means "it got it's power reduced". Also the Vanguard is not the 1v1 winner, except against noobs. The performance statistics before the nerf back this up. After the nerf the Vanguard will be worse. But why bring logic into this if you can just spout nonsense eh AiSkander?

I beat 2 shielded 2/2 AP Vanguards, in a 2/2 Magrider (me driving), in one continuous attack, before the nerf. This was with a backstab ofcourse. I also got in a fight with a 2/2 Vanguard backed up by a 1/2 Vamguard in a 2/2 Magrider and managed to letthem use shields and wear one down to 25% and the other to 50% before I had to get out. I also shot a video to prove to someone that the Prowler recoil was practically non-existant and ended the video by takingon a 2/2 Vanguard+AP Lightning and nearly destroyed the Vanguard. If I had wanted to I could have survived and repaired up but I had made my point about the recoil Statistically, the Vanguard is EXTREMELY possible to beat. Unless ofcourse you start cherry-picking your stats. The Vanguards speed, mobility, size, health, damage, reload, recoil and everything you can think off makes for an inferior tank. We can easily prove this by introducing user stats: Fact, NC user stats for NS vehicles and weapons is usually higher than those of the other two factions, nullifying the "but we have more skilled users" argument. Fact, the Vanguard is thought to be the best MBT killer, but per Vanguard life it only barely stayed ahead of the Magrider. Fact, the Vanguard is behind in almost every other important stat, such as killing Sunderers or infantry. Fact, the Vanguard isnt OP, and it isnt unbeatable in 1v1. Fact, you will ignore facts and lie to try and "prove" your warped sense of reality.
Who's bias now? I'm talking about statistics. 1v1 vs a Shielded vanguard. You die. You can't flee. You just lose your tank. End of discussion. It's always been like that don't try to cover it up
1v1 against a Shielded Vanguard. You can use cover to repair, reduce hitbox size and wait out the Vanguard shield. The Prowler is faster with better burst damage and damage over time. Magrider has better DPS, beats the Vanguard in vanilla survivability when it uses its dodges and both other tanks have superior maneuverability. Use these and you can beat a Vanguard in a 1v1. And I have done so against a Vanguard. Thats not covering things up, thats the simple truth. Hou can win in a 1v1 against a Shielded Vanguard, and it doesnt require much more skill to pull it off. You require more skill to do an infantry fight. Also you arent talking statistics, you are talking a hypothetical situation that rarely happens: the Vanguard and other tank in a vacuüm without cover and 100% hit chance while no one tries to maneuver. Thats not a statistic, thats a fantasy. And that should be the end of the discussion: you have a fantasy that NC is far superior while its not.
This is redundant. Keep to the topic, there is another discussion on this PS: all those things are situational. If you search for cover you die. Becouse you are not shooting the vanguard AND STATISTICALLY: Facing a tank with more HP and Damage mitigation just gets you to lose.
