Hey guys, I am looking for an outfit I can play with when I want but ignore when I just want to play with my buddies. Basically I just want to make sure before I join that I won't just get kicked because I am not participating one day and am off doing my own thing with my friends who are not in the outfit.
That's fine. We don't try to control your life. In fact your friends can join in the recruiting platoons. Participation helps with gaining rank and responsibility.
Stupid question. I got accepted into PHX a while ago. The other day I accidentally left the outfit when I was trying to leave a squad. How do I get reinstated back into PHX outfit?
We almost always have a recruiting platoon. But specialty stuff is arranged via teamspeak. In fact I was most impressed with PHX initially because they got things done without a lot of chatter (I had never used TS). But PHX requires TS3 for all officers and those who want to become officers. Which I finally joined into and now wish I had done sooner. It's not an elitist outfit. We don't collect high BRs or have you farm just to increase BR. We don't subject you to stat voodoo to determine your worth. Participation, mutual respect, and listening will get you where you want to be in the outfit. But we don't really maintain isolated 'tacticool' squads.

I assume ya'll are still open to new members? I've been playing Planetside 2 for a decent while now, but haven't ever been part of a proper outfit. I figure it might be time for some buddies to roll with-- as long as you like having dedicated gunners on hand. I will hop in your secondary MBT, liberator, sunderer, harasser, and battle-Galaxy guns without a moment's hesitation. That's the most fun to be had in this game, if you ask me! The only position I don't like gunning for the tail of Liberators (unless it's a thermal-equipped ground pounder!), but I will occasionally take one for the team if you really need one. Because I'm just that good of a dude.
Great job last night with winning the alert at literally the last second. Platoon hot drop FTW. That was a close one.

Thanks. That alert timer gave us heartburn as it didn't sync with the cap timer very well. Fun alert and a tough VS force. Nobody seems to like the tail gun. I certainly prefer the dalton but will take 3rd seat. The kills in 3rd seat feel well deserved. I finally started to try to enjoy just flying one as I dumped certs into mine and should take if for a spin. But yes, we can always use gunners.
