Have you even used it yet? I think it's great. It's certainly not the first or last example in my image.

Half of this thread was made even before any of the launchers were released, I couldn't believe people weren't actually trolling.

I've been trying it out and I can assure you that it is definitely not the middle example you drew. The rocket handles like an elephant, only travels 300m in total and cannot easily be turned over 90 degrees (your diagram showed it going 180 degrees?!) and that was completely evident in that video that Higby made!

    called it.

    I was right.

    you are biased

Here you go, a 90 degree turn with a striker. And 9 times out of 10 that will be more useful than the continent wide turn you can make with the phoenix:

this weapon is seems selfishly thought out, its actually turning more like 180 degrees, if you see the trail. the guy also lifted his mouse 5 times while turning leisurely. the camera is far too good, its resolution is way too high. it should be in black and white. its ANOTHER one hit kill weapons for the NC. I'm starting to see a pattern here.

if you go into vr you can point straight up and almost hit the ground. the turn is there, but it would take 50m more range to hit. you can drop it at more than a 60 degree angle onto any target with a little planning.

thats some pretty horrible music also. he jus' be keepin' it real yo. NC4LYF NINJAS!!!

Except the REAL Phoenix can't 90 degree turn. Heck it doesn't even deserve to be called the Phoenix since it's NOTHING like the weapon from PS1.

It's doesn't handle like the PS1 version, doesn't sound like it, doesn't look like it. So like everything else in PS2 it's a crap version of what we loved in PS1.

The one weapon I've been waiting to buy in PS2 became, after a few minutes of trying it out in the VR area, proof that I'll doubtfully put real money into PS2 again.
