Yes DDR3 1600. 7-8-7-24, like the screenshot says. This is running with no overclock.
AMP station screenshot was "enemy squads detected".
35-40fps at the crown on major battles on jeagers. "enemy platoons detected"
100-120fps alone in a base or at the warpgate. "no activity"
    90's when flying my lib.

    Cpu useage:

Getting 35-40, with no drops into the 20's, fighting enemy platoons at the crown, is working great far as I'm concerned.
I got guys in my outfit with with I7's and 600 series that get the same 35-40...

If your expecting to get 60fps while in the thick of it with enemy platoons, I think your aiming to high.

Thanks. I have almost the same FPS in the Crown (at least I had before patch), so things seem to be more clear now. My FPS in Amp Stations strongly depends on how many enemies are directly near me and what direction I look at. When i am looking towards outside and see no enemies my FPS are much better, than when looking towards center with multiple (15, 20) players before me. This is when I hit my minimum.
I guess, that if this game was a bit better optimized and made good use of multicore CPUs, 50-60 FPS where we getting 35 FPS now would be real.

You should do some more research before you post. You have no idea what in this game is CPU and what is GPU bound. It completely depends on the implementation. The fact is that your CPU is well aged, and your memory tech is 6 years old.
When it gets crowded it will always need more CPU, for positioning, physics, particles, network and sound, etc. Your CPU indication is only an average of all cores, doesn't include CPU share for the process, not is it real-time. In order to do any kind of comparison, you'd need to do benchmark in exactly same conditions as others, something that this game doesn't have. Network latency, bandwidth, hardware or software audio processing, your "10 usual" systray apps, speed and size of your HDD's buffer, size of swap, all make a difference to your experience, as they all take share off CPU time. Your memory size and speed are much lower than that of your GFX, which makes loading and caching of resources harder. If Game has to fetch some res from sys mem in order to load it into the gfx hardware buffers, GFX will be affected, as the process is usually not asynchronous (i.e. occasional stutter). I could keep on going, but until you upgrade your tech, you won't see much improvement.

Maybe it's me, but it is Your second post that doesn't make sense to me. When I first quoted You, telling me to cut down my settings, I just pointed the fact, that with my config most of those settings have no or low impact on performance. It is quite funny to me, whe You are telling me that I have "no idea what is cpu and what i s gpu bound here" after telling me to set my Graphic Quality to med/low. You have not much worth to say there, including Your arrogant suggestion that I should upgrade my hardware. My hardware is none of Your business, take care of Yours. Again, You are coming here and telling me about how old my hardware is. Why ? Did You make You feel better ? I know how old my cpu is, and if You wanted to be honest, You would see that (for example) my memory has rather small impact on my performance.
Now, it seems, most of Your post is true. But could You be more clear, why did You post all this details, in short (besides stating the obvious) ? If it is just to prove that I won't see much improvement, then You seem to be next one that "knows better" - even than devs. But maybe there's more You wanted to tell and I am just missing it ?

Hello. It's a long time since I have been here. As I am downloading 4,5 GB of updates - could anyone tell me if anything has changed in matter of PS2 performance on Phenom II CPU (I have missed 3 or 4 global updates) ? Has it improved or not ? Since so called "optimization update" that was told to bring 50-100% more performance, and in effect it brought some FPS less, I am not very optimistic, but... maybe... anyone... ? ;)
