Petition to Undo Knife Nerf

The knives for each faction now do 500 damage instead of 625. In other words, bye bye shot-knifing. Shot-knifing was a legitimate and commonly used method by many Commisioner and Underboss users. After this update a Commisioner shot-knife will only do 950 to a non-nanoweave target (450 + 500) which won't even kill them. Before the update you could shot-knife anyone using up to nanoweave level 3 (450 * 0.85 + 625 = 1007.5). This is even worse for Underboss users like me who had to hope that the target wasn't using nanoweave in order to shot-knife due to a shot-knife adding up to exactly 1000 (625+375). The old knife value was supposed to account for nanoweave level 5 users (2 * 625 = 1250 <- Old nanoweave 5 health) and now that nanoweave only works against small-arms fire, apparently knives don't need to deal 625 damage anymore.

I hope you can see why they do and maybe even why they should deal OVER 625 damage.

Shot-Knifing is COD crap.

You all should do what a friend and I do. Double knife someone. No sound, no fuss. Instant kill.

Granted it takes 20 years of gaming together with someone to pull that off without using any sort of comms, but its doable. And its badass.

Maybe this is just the first step of their heinous plan to add and sell new melee weapons?

Equip your knife if you want to use it. That's the change I'm waiting for.

Never played COD. I'm told it was for the better.
