Problem with Briggs is that although the pops are generally close to even for a few hours in prime time, the different worlds generally have one faction stacked on it.

I do normally notice a large amount of TR log on around 11pm that throws the balance out, so i'm guessing it is all the WA players????
  2. Bape

After checking countless server all server continent under TR/VS not one own by NC lol. So I tried VS in jager or whatever it called i tried LA for the first time I was 62-9. However just killing NC just didn't sit right with me so i deleted it couldn't stand all the purple spandex people around me. Also i might add IT WAS VERY BORING BEING VS all the map were getting wooped by them took me about 20 mins to find a place to kill.
  3. Daikaze

We could use some Vanu over on Connery. We are consistently out popped over there.

SOE can do more to help alleviate these issues... after you pick your faction you pick the server and it just needs to suggest servers that need more of that faction.
  4. Raines

It would be nice if A) you could make more then 3 characters, and B) certs earned on one character carried over to another character.

I was VS from the start. I do not in any way approve of our weapons being overpowered, especially when it causes the mindless zerg rush to flock to our side. I play VS because of the whole "FOR SCIENCE!" theme about us. NOT the weapons being overpowered. I would be perfectly fine if A. TR and NC weapons are re-tuned a bit to be on par, or B. our own weapons re-tuned to at least be less of an "I want power" attraction.

The really sad thing is that lore-wise, VS are, for the most part, former scientists... R&D members focusing on weaponizing discovered Vanu tech. How ironic that now, our numbers swell with mindless zerglings, wanting nothing more than powerful weapons. They don't care about the lore, or the looks, and have no factional pride whatsoever. They just want the most firepower, and complain when something they don't know or can't learn how to use is better than what they can use.

Have you tried flying a Scythe or Driving a Magrider?

Not to mention their laser cannons, im not surprised people are giving up on the NC considering there is no official announcement of any future "balance" changes. Some people cant hold their breath forever...

Me im gonna keep "Hehehe Live free in the NC"

    Amen brother!
    Death to the Poosers!
  8. Zapon

then we'll just fight the alien faction that's due in a few years to come to PS2

They may be the Vanu- so we'll get to fight those whom we got our awesome weaponry from.

    xD
  9. Pat Cleburne

Vanu have overpowered almost everything. Why play anyone else when you have built in aimbots and supertanks that dominate all?

I've piloted both. Um, well... I've TRIED to pilot a Scythe. Pretty much any aircraft I spawn inevitably blows up before I even get to shoot at anyone. Lack of any VR training can do that to a new player. The controls for air vehicles are just... I just can't get them down.

Magrider... That's a different story, and ends up the same way it does with any other tank I try to drive. Only instead of getting my tracks stuck on something, I just so happen to, every time I actually spawn one, run into someone who knows how to easily eat a tank for breakfast when the one driving it is nowhere near experienced with it.

Infantry most of the way, for me. I'll take my 360 degrees of audio awareness and aiming via mouse sensitivity over that any day.

Because seriously... Who wants to have to struggle with a mouse to aim a turret that has a max turn rate. Certainly not me.

You are wrong, they can fix this, by balancing the Vanu with the other factions so they arent the clear winner at EVERYTHING from close combat to Air combat

Untill then, people will join the side that gets the most certs and has the most fun...obviously
  13. Mirakk

Mattherson has an almost constant 33/33/33 split. Maybe one faction will get as high as 36 some times that I've seen, but that's extreme.

Come play here, it's fun for everyone!

I prefer shooting laser/plasma than primitive bullets.

Clearly VS is overpopulated as we can see from these real world statistics.

Oh, wait, it's not like that at all.
  16. Xandax

People started to actually played the game and figured out the supposed disadvantage of the VS is mostly irrelevant

    You are wrong.
  18. Brickwalker

Vanu is the least populated on my server
  19. Gamertech

On Briggs the factions are usually pretty even when I am on, 33% a side. The VS and the TR are busy duking it out all over the map and the NC are representing by....camping in their warpgate all day... Seriously?

How can they whinge that they are disadvantaged with their weapons when they wont even come out to test them on someone... Probably think the guns are weak due to trying to shoot teammates to pass the time in the warpgate and they aren't doing anything...

Come out of hiding little NC so I can have some serious 3 way battles again!!

Ok... well you are the exception.

Scythes can basically hover on the spot (without any upgrades) and they shoot 2 rocket pods at once (as opposed to every other empires 1 at a time), so if you CAN ACTUALLY FLY they are rather useful for farming easy kills against the ground. Air vs Air, they are pretty decent also.

As for the tank, it has a boost and side strafe. So if you sit about 20m out from the enemy you should be able to shoot then dodge his incoming shells. Yes it has a fixed turret but it also has side strafe and boosting capabilities, making it cleary better than the ("Heavy hitting" lol) Vanguard (slowest tank in the game) and the paper thin seige mode tank the prowler.

Even if you are only sticking to infantry though, should be easy enough with the high initial recoil then no bullet drop and no recoil, just pull down on your mouse and dead.

I was mainly talking to people who have played a war simulator (or even been in the military) before... If they went NC initially then switched to VS or TR their KDR and would triple.
