PC Game Maintenance - 1/26

DirectX11 would be pointless. DirectX12 or Vulkan could help a lot, but they take a lot of work. And i don´t know if it is worth the work at the moment, there could be WAY more important things. However, perfomance is huge huge huge thing, even people with good PCs can´t always enjoy 60+ FPS in this game, so that largely reduces number of players that can play the game.
I have no idea how much better perfomance DirectX12 or Vulkan could provide, or if everything that can be done has already been done and those would not provide enough boost. But if it would give notable boost, like 20 FPS, it might very well be worth the enormous effort it takes to implent DX12 or Vulkan. Most likely Vulkan, becouse that also works on PS4.
