Paying members need to still have queue priority!!!

I can't believe how self entitled some of you are. BOTH groups, grow up, you sound like little whiny 11 year olds.

I'm a NON Member, but I've spent far more than any member has on subscriptions unless they've gone and bought 10 years worth already. I've spent more than most actually, and rather ashamed, that said, I don't have a membership, I don't care for one, else I would have bought it.

Members - We didn't ask for this, stop raging that we got something because we've paid money to them, just like you. Yes, it is out of order than those who have a SUBSCRIPTION AND HAVE BOUGHT CASH ITEMS still have to pay a month, while having no priority, but then learn your lesson and stop your subscription.

Non Members - Yes, you've spent money on the game, that doesn't give you entitlement to get the same treatment as those who specifically pay for that specific entitlement, I'm sure most of you would be pissed if it were you. OP's attitude stinks yes, his "I'm holier than thou" attitude is a bit much (because, he isn't) but there are many who don't deserve this, especially those that just subbed.

As always, SoE gave no warning on it. No, they didn't need to, but they didn't because they knew many wouldn't sub then. It's a cheap *** move, one of MANY that they've done. Members have a right to be pissed, non members got something for nothing, be thankful for that but don't rub it in those who pay monthly face's, it's childish and pathetic.

As a non-member though, this certain has taking away ANY thought of ever becoming a member, so thanks for the freebies and the last lesson to spend any more money.

I paid more money for station cash than a 6 month membership costs. Besides, I always thought of the queue as minor, if I were to get a membership it'd be for the extra passive cert gain, XP bonus and 500SC a month.

I love how most of you people haven't got a clue what this is all about. We are PAYING for something and SOE is taking it away after we've already committed our funds to something. We aren't paying for a charity, we are paying for certain things outlined in the agreement we made when we put our credit cards on the line to get this stuff. Now we have to wait in the queue with everyone else, get the same amount of certs and XP as everyone else, and all of this for the same price? No compensation? That is a horrible business practice. Those of you idiots that say "oh, it's only for a month" or "Geez, suck it up, why are you acting like a petulant child" are completly ignorant of what is going on and should NOT post ANY response.

Giving these people a free month of Premium Membership doesn't even give the same experience anyway! While I'm used to being 5th o 6th in the queue, even at the end of an ALERT in the afternoon, now I'm 75th along with all these people trying to see what the experience is like. How can they even know what it's like when they're not getting it?

I want my monetary compensation for what I paid for!!! I want queue PRIORITY or make this month free for putting up with the freebies. How you people that don't agree with this even make it through life is beyond me, you must really get shtooped alot at the drive-thru.

Yeah, so if 3 out of 20 new players quits because SOE is ignorant, then I guess your statment doesn't hold up very well, does it. Although PS2 has the best model for a free game I've seen, little things like this make the game intollerable to play. I will NOT sit in a 25 minute queue while I'm PAYING.... PAYING to NOT SIT IN THE QUEUE. How hard is that for you people to understand? It's like going to a rock concert, getting front row tickets months in advance, then getting to the concert and finding out there are NO front row seats, but everyone has mediocre seats in the middle. Your business model logic is totally flawed.

There is no comparison between what SOE have done and winning the lottery; the lottery is 100% luck and to use it as an analogy in this situation is misconceived at the least. I have been paying a monthly subscription plus Alpha Pack plus SC since launch; one of the supposed benefits of paying a monthly subscription is queue priority over non-subscription players. Now SOE have given for free what I have been, and still are, paying for. This is the issue, I have not only paid each month since launch, I have also, and more importantly, paid for this month. Something that non-subscription players haven't and yet they get the same benefit I do; not only that, because of this the queues are longer so my in game experience has been diminished by SOE.

Get it now? Have I explained it in simple enough terms for you to understand?

It's fine, Company give things away to attract more customers. Right now, They are giving stuff away so old players who spent money can come see the new alert system and weapons and veichles.


They can't see how these systems work if they are waiting in line . There is still a premium line up that we all get to use still. There is just more of them this moth that qualify for it because of the promotion

You still have that benefit. What is the fundamental difference between there being 500 more paid subscribers on your server this month versus there being 500 trial subscribers this month? None whatsoever. The only difference is in your head. Get over it.

And I have paid a subscription since November, plus Alpha Pack, plus bought plenty of SC. I am still subscribed and have an agreement with SOE that one of the benefits of paying that subscription would be queue priority over the free to play players. This month I'm not getting that so why should SOE keep my money? How can anyone say that this that SOE has done is morally or ethically right?

I really don't care about waiting longer as long as the queue works and lets me go do something other than mash the warp button.

The difference is that that extra 500 premium players haven't paid for the privilege and I, and many others, have. That's the difference.
What would you think if you went to your local car dealers and paid £12,000 for a new car and then the very next customer, for no reason whatsoever, gets given one completely for free? I'm will to be you'd not be too impressed.

You're getting queue priority over free to play players, free to play players didn't get the loyal soldier bundle.

The crux of this problem is the Que.

I am a subscriber with a 6 month subscription.
I have bought around 15k SC

What I get:
Member priority que.
500 SC a month.
50% Increased Cert gain.
Passive 48 Certs (might be 50) a day.
And some resources...

I got this because of the extra certs, I also picket up the 6 month cert bonus for another 50%, and that combined with the passive boost I would say is the main reson why you would buy a subscription. So by just offering the "Loyal soldiers" this would be a good enough carrot for players to get a subscription.

By adding the que you negate one of the perks of being a member. Non subscribers still experience a que and Subscribing members will get a longer que without any compensation. So no one is a winner here.
And people saying that it's a matter of 5-9 minutes...no, that que timer runs on windows time. I got in a que with 20 people, a 4 minute wait according to the timer. 20 minutes later I had jumped down 15 spots and the Alert at the time was running out.

So if the loyal soldiers would gain everything except the Que I would be totaly fine with this.... but including it ... that's just bad marketing. I'm even fine with handing out the 500 SC.

Simply stated. If you are one of those people saying that it isn't so bad, you are wrong. Again, you have no idea what you are talking about and there is no logic to you even posting a response that does not agree with the original post. Regardless of SOE giving these people free stuff for profit, the paying customer is NOT getting what they paid for.

You can. You can get in queue and then go do something else, even go fighting. When you can Warp, it sends you a notification.

That would be completly fair game and I would deal with it. But that's not the case right now. Right now subscribers are getting one of their benefits of being subscribed thrown out the window for no good reason as both subscribing people and people who got the free month are stuck in the que.

That is the silly thing.

Sony should just remove the que benefit from the free trial. Problem solved.
