i just recently got NMG for heavy (using resist before) and boom a massive nerf. there should at least be a partial refund for things like this
They have provided refunds for certain cert lines in the past (e.g. when weapon zoom certifications were changed), but the devs don't normally do so. Besides, it's not like you wasted your certs. NMG will still give your HA a formidable advantage over other classes - it just won't take half a squad firing on you to take you out anymore. HA will still be very powerful, just not borderline OP like it used to be...
They only do refunds when somethings function changes the Shields still give you more effective health the amount is just less. The difference between the shields are still close to each other since all were nerfed and overall their functions are still the same.
Yea, I would like my HA shields refunded too.. I have all mine maxed, but the early information on these shields was VERY vivid.. but to be honest I only use the default one.. :S
Lets imagine DGB would refund you the certs for the NMG. Then what? Would you use your heavy w/o a shild then? I don't think so.
Are you ready to roll back all that certs, that you farmed with an old shield? I bet you farmed more than you spent on it.
and this is why it was nerfed.... everyone pretending that heavies requiring you to fire 5 or 6 extra shots from your 800RPM weapon was somehow godmode.
Luck of the draw I'm afraid. I certed into the Striker when it was rubbish (just for poops and giggles). Now it is better but I haven't been charged extra certs for the updagrade................
