[Suggestion] Outfit organisation tools

I've done a search but to my surprise couldn't find a similar thread (I apologise if this is a dupe). As my outfit is growing I'm feeling like it is becoming much harder to regulate the members and I feel like we need a little more control. We have a 200 man outfit so I have no idea how the larger outfits cope.

My main issues are having to try to find members in the vast member list that doesn't have any sorting at all and finding out who is inactive.

A couple of my suggestions to make life easier for an outfit leader:
- More possible ranks
- Members list sorted in order of rank
- Members list sorted alphabetically after sorted by rank
- Squads being run by outfit members displayed on the outfit screen (from here: http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/outfit-page-concept.68325/#post-861541)
- Possibly an ability to auto-join an outfit squad in the same way the F11 key works, or prioritise outfit squads
- An outfit recruitment channel in game
- Show last login time for members
- Display the message of the day on screen for outfit members when they log on

Show outfit members in a unique colour on the map even if you aren't currently in the same squad. Sometimes you don't have enough for a real squad but you still feel like working together if you happen to be at the same base.

As an officer of a outfit with over 400 members i completely agree with every one of these suggestions. In fact I would like to suggest one more.

- A "find an outfit" interface similar to other MMO's. A place that new or veteran players can check some info out on outfits before making a choice to join.

I'd really like a little area to put notes next to each player so we can indicate what each player is specialized in.

That'd be pretty useful too. It's hard to keep track of when you have hundreds of people in a fast growing outfit.

Interestingly enough this feature DOES exist in the client. It just was never enabled. In beta, you had a greyed out Find Outfit button that got removed completely when the game neared release.

Why they chose to never enable a feature they had built in i don't know. Maybe SOE subscribes to the notion that in game socializing shouldn't be done in game. Since they built the feature, however, i would like to see it enabled.

And +1 to the rest of the suggestions. The Outfit and squad interfaces currently are operational, but that's all you can say about them. They could both benefit from more features.

To be fair to them the feature was probably never functional if it was always greyed out. I do see a need for it though.

The ability to Mutiny Against the current leader if they have been inactive for over a Fortnight...
I am the Proxy Leader as voted by the members of my Outfit, and am currently waiting a few more days to resubmit a ticket to get the old leader, who hasn't been on since he recruited me into the Outfit, removed and me placed as Leader...

The ability to see when people joined. The Outfit is also Open Invite, and clearly we have mistakenly invited some Hackers and Arseholes that have been causing problems and staining our name. Allowing to see when someone joined can help you hunt down those that were invited by a Hacker/**** and are playing Sleeper...

I'm not too sure about the mutiny thing. I can see it's uses but for example our outfit has 4 'Outfit Leaders' so would you mutiny them all out?

Join date would be a pretty nice addition. Really helps to see who are your more veteran members too.

Yes please! Outfits need more love.
Right now we are writing a member list in Excel to trace the people, can you imagine that...!?

API release of course could be helpfull as well.

We're currently doing most of our outfit management via our personal forums, but not everyone is registered yet so it's a little tricky. API would be very useful, I've noticed it doesn't display the outfit of the player though.
