I know there is currently a problem with the outfit decals ...I've seen the in-game mess. But I'm wondering is the availability going to consist of ALL decals both vehicle and infantry for use as the outfif decals. Lets face it the vehicle decals are much better in design than the infantry ones bar a few. Does anyone know if both types will be available when they patch the issue they have ???
Yes, any decal you can purchase in the Depot (plus the Rum and Cola decals, because I know you guys need that) can be used.
Can you use custom decals. The whole idea of outfit decals loses it appeal when you have other outfits running the same as yours from in game options?

We're still trying to work out an efficient way to do that. Keep in mind this is a first pass on the system and there will be plenty of improvements to come.
So if an outfit selects a decal as theirs, can people not in an outfit no longer use that decal? What if they already paid for it?
On the topic of Outfit decals. Purchase Infantry or Vehicle Outfit decals in their Depot categories for 100 SC or 250 Certs I only see Decals available for SC purchase, no option for Certs. Is this something which needs fixing, or have I misunderstood the notion? Or do I have to go into a very specific menu to see them listed for Certs?
They are talking about the generic "Outfit Infantry Decal" and "Outfit Vehicle Decal" that a player can buy and equipt. Then if the outfit has a decal listed, it will display that decal. Those can be purchased with Certs. The Decal's themselves are still SC-only.... and so the outfit leader will need to buy via SC the chosen Decal. Only he has to use SC (or whoever has the permissions to change it)... everyone else can use certs to display it.
Perhaps a system of shapes and random pictures that can be overlapped would work well. Such as a fire symbol and a gun symbol combined. It would be really easy to do and it would allow almost limitless possibilities.
BF4 has such a system with the icons for individuals soldiers, and you can find a bunch of them here. Less depictions of human anatomy than you would think! This is the one I use
BF4 is the only battlefield game that I've never played After all the premium crap from BF3 and all the complaints about 4, I figured I'm better off not purchasing it. Instead I purchased more SC I was thinking of something similar to the logo designer in EVE Online. Basic shapes and pictures that can be combined such as this... V0lta Corp. Logo, my corporate logo, which is a series of overlapping pictures. One logo from one corporation, out of thousands.
We still ONLY have access to just our INFANTRY DECALS at the moment. Is there and info on the fix so we can USE ALL our including the VEHICLE DECALS please. Its not listed in the patch today and most of my SC purchased decals are form the vehicle section, Also will the player studio designed decals be available because some of them are rather nice. Also why can certain decals not be used. I have for example the "Summer Fun" decal for VS unlocked and that can't be selected. Is this a bug and certain decals are not showing up or is this intended and if so what was the reasoning behind it? Also have the British flag unlocked, can't use this either
