Oshur Rework

    I don’t see the new construction bases changing anything. Modules needed for everything. Who wants to base build all day?

    Interlinks, Tridents and 15 Seaposts or Seabases and zero fights, they are still garbage and do not bring good fights just camping on the defensive side when the numbers are against you. Once you get stuck indoors to spawn room it’s lobsided.

    I only see mostly air on Oshur and only air to ground dominance.

    The Centri Import Hub, worst physical base implemented , A point to hard to take with deploy zone issues, C point going to be almost impossible to capture. The same goes for many of the bases. Where you can deploy it is to predictable and exasperated with orbital strikes.

    You guys need to start thinking about removing deploy zones for Sunderers, Deliverers and Loadstars at this point. Corsairs should be able to Anchor and be spawnable AMS’s.

    Lastly, land vehicles really show how bad they are on Oshur, they can’t climb for the life of them and get stuck at locations and are very limited in there roles, add the catapult system you have on the corsair as a attachment to the Sunderer, back of the harrasser or secondary seats on the Flash or Javelin.

    Lastly you guys still had a pretty decent map for Koltyr, just add the lush forests like Shattered Warpgates all over the place and spruce the map up. Don’t discard it.

    Yes pls shattered warp forest Koltyr & remodel every Oshur base after the environment style of Pommel Gardens & the yard ring of Sage Labs.

    Rid Mirror Bay, rid Eagle Outlook, so delete all towers. The NE lane is the least entertaining path from SE to NE, most ignore. Most hills would have to be turned to flat ground. Open A fields are now tree jungles.

    Ye the launch for Corsairs is ideal if your squad is allowed to repeatably redeploy to the parked Corsair for many launches. One launch per person isn't enough. The corsair requires maybe even more speed with less hp, else same hp yet more water turn drifts. Seeing as the driver gets easily bored, as if their driving a sundy, when they really want a boat version of a harasser.

    Zero infantry bases that turn into hallway shooters. Zero infantry bases that turn to door fights. Not even the door fight leading to Sage Labs is entertaining, meaning only the yard ring of Sage Labs and the 2nd floor window floor is entertaining. Yet those lil ramps near the doors aren't entertaining.

    Tridents are a smaller version of a biolab fight with even less obvious ways to park there, new players don't fly galaxies. I'd replace Tridents with a underwater mega base fully underwater. I wouldn't even say anyone under BR 60 flies a galaxy. That means nobody under BR 60 is ever going to set shop for a underwater fight & they won't set shop for a airpad fight. Also anyone under BR 60 isn't aware that gate shield sinks the sundy.

    Mirror Bay makes people ignore Pommel Gardens and Pommel Gardens is x4 better than any tower ps2 has. Mirror Bay makes people ignore Astira and Astira is better. Astira requires more ways to park around it & tons of smart boxes for a multi floor box warehouse battle.

    The mid lake of the map is still underutilized. Wakerrift beach used as a prop for Ant's isn't really as sweet as a mid having 4 defining dev made infantry bases. So I'd rid Wakerrift for a extra new infantry base. I'd also rid Mirror Bay for a new extra Infantry base or jungle with a spawn room.

    Not sure if the bridges are interesting enough, as they seem to all have plots of land before & after the bridges of the map. Meaning nobody is that excited to cross them. Interlink's aren't exciting either. Since they are door to door fights, without much level & floor uniqueness to the base. So far indoor bases aren't favorable for Oshur, only bases without a rooftop work for fans. Half indoor half outdoor bases are fine, yet not the fully indoor ones.

    As for how to make Oshur better for vehicles? That'd have to be last on the list. Seeing as Infantry entertainment requires so much work first. Centri Hub a island just for ant building is ignored, ignored from everyone who isn't a Ant, due to that reason. Empty plots of land for Ant's weren't favored for Shattered Warpgate's NE map, so why would it be favored for Oshur?

    As for vehicles after fixing the map, well ye double stack bridges, bridges with ramps, less ledges per island, more ramps from one island to the other, more island size seeing as all the islands are too skinny, better water speed that release had for land vehicles since now sunderers drive too slow. More reasons to flank sideways to other neighbor islands, more reasons for vehicles to use the sea randomly that's obvious for new players, so they don't just use bridges only.

    Underwater for sure requires other ways for new players to drive sundy's underwater without activating a ability to do so & not having to fly some galaxy underwater that only squad leads know how to do. Lastly, Pommel Garden's boulder maze shouldn't be the only boulder maze of the map, say 4 different boulder maze bases. & if they do build a Shattered Warpgate style jungle for Kolyr Oshur, well ask what type of jungle forest a Infantry Vet would want. Without having to rely on Ant's for spawns to the jungle, seeing as Ant spawns were the worst part of Shattered Warpgates jungle fights, meant we had to run a mile to the jungle half the time. So jungles should be designed similar to how Pommel Gardens is, except that you have tree density where boulder paths would be. So tree paths.

    P.s. As for Koltyr. The only tower worth a hoot was the west tower & the western tower's B warehouse, that allowed a sundy to be parked inside the other warehouse. That was sweet. The other 2 towers to the right of map have to be deleted. 3 towers was too many. & only the west tower got action. I personally favor Indars " The Stronghold's " base design & wish they'd toss that to Koltyr. Else toss Stronghold to Oshur. Other base examples to toss to Kolyr Oshur is Scarfield Reliquary & Shrouded Skyway.
