Any estimated date when OMFG (Operation Make Game Faster) will be complete or realeased? Maybe like 3 or 4 weeks? Got surgery on my hand and really wanna get back into PS2 after I get this damn cast off.
Soon I hope. I can't wait for the optimizations; not to mention the Hossin and Continent lattice update after that.
Apparently, following their recent details of the optimisation patch, Higby has announced that the first major optimisation patch is touted to be released at October at the earliest.
Awesome. Also, do you think that with the new optimization might lower the requirements for the game? I have a few friends with low end pcs that want to try this game, but cant with their current setups.
I don't think so,we didn't really see the optimisation yet,if they can make the game run faster on systems that already meet the requirements then it will be a miracle .
I think for them to finish it all it will take around 6 months - year. That's my guess on how they are talking about it. They will most likely release it in small bits and pieces. It will not lower the system requirements. It will just make the hardware that can already run it run better.
