Hi, if possible, could someone recomend a stable driver version that works with the current planetside 2 version? Right now my playsessions are plagued by freezing issues. The screen freezes up for 5-10seconds and i get the dvi message and a driver reset. This seems to happen randomly but at least once every hour or so. I am running a second monitor, but don't use it as a splitscreen ... just in case that this is important. It's sadly pretty much unplayable right now
This is an old issue and nobody want to be responsible for that. For me it fixes an overclocking tool like OC Guru and downclock your gpu 50mhz.
If you've had your card for a while, check the temperature, as Planetside 2 is notorious for overheating graphics cards. About once a year it can be worth your while reapplying thermal paste to the GPU. In my own case recently it bought down GPU temperatures on one machine by about ten degrees under full load, which is a decent return for the minimal effort involved. This video gives you the basic idea of what to do. Try to use non conductive thermal paste if possible:
